I am currently mulling over the same chair situation. I'm thinking I'll need to use the jack from my car to pop the base off the cylinder. All other prying & banging to date has only ended with minor self injury. :/ |

Disney is very good at what they do, and that is make money. If there's money to be had, we'll see more Alien universe movies. The new Predator movie that's about to drop will likely affect the overall franchise, so I'm hoping it's good, and encourages future movies/games/coffee mugs/bed sheets/action figures/breakfast cereal/etc... |

I am mildly curious which other "battle.net"s Blizzard is attempting to distance themselves from by sticking the name out front there. Anyone who doesn't know Blizzard == Battle.net doesn't play Blizzard games, and doesn't care. |

All this will do is have the offenders farm time in games... automation FTW?
However, I think a human final stage check should be involved.... if there's 50 crap versions of the new crap game already on steam, manually veto & block it from being considered any futher for greenlight.

I think I'll echo the consensus that third person shooters are garbage, and mourn the bastardization of another once great franchise, while tempering that with the fact that it's probably a pretty decent social platform that's been gamified with a military sheen for those that find enjoyment in those sort of things. Rockstar has been successful with their social crime platform in GTA Online, though I expect the Ghost Recon universe will appeal far less to the female audience than GTA.
Being a bad Ghost Recon game doesn't necessarily make it a bad game in and of itself - though Ubi shouldn't think they've got a mega hit on their hand, that's quite unrealistic from what I see so far.
Maybe fans of hardcore shooters will see a sequal to SWAT 4 that's still worth purchasing. |

I am enjoying it, and am glad I spent the money. I've been a fan of Space Hulk for multiple decades, and am impressed with the visuals and gameplay of Deathwing. It has area for improvement in UI, some loading times, and other miscellany, but the core play itself feels Space Hulk.
Will be interesting to see if this dev team has the chops to make it a polished title over the next few patches. |

As an ancient lurker, around well long enough to remember the golden ages with grumpy old gamer, happy puppy, and other long fallen gaming sites, I give you a resounding well done Blue. While it's my gaming addiction which will keep me here until I die, it is you and the other great folks that lend you a hand that make it more than worth coming to. |

Having been in a bit of a Fallout 4 binge, I didn't see any of the news about a DLC release until well after I was deep into the mechanic line. It was nice that it seamlessly appeared in game for me at a time when I still had a fair amount of the map to explore, was 35ish, and shortly after an interaction with Travis in the wilds while wandering toward the next point of interest. Apparently it added some interesting kit and such but as far as I could tell it was there at game launch (having read the news, I know now it wasn't). I played with the robo-crafting a bit before I knew it was primarily for creating companions (though why you'd create more than one, and not simply swap out mods I don't have an answer to). Glad I grabbed it with the season pass back when. |

This isn't really a stealth game, but a stop motion puzzler similar to Braid, only in 3D wrapped in the illusion of a stealth game. Anyone looking for a true Thief sequel will need to continue their wait. |

Additionally, the chips are retardedly slow - takes a factor of ten longer at least to process my sale. Bad technology being used by poorly run companies. |

Pop your chip card in the microwave for 3 seconds, then tell the clerks at the stores it's broken and make them manually enter the card information. Takes just as long, or longer, but lets the card companies know you're not going to accept any tech they want to foist on you.
Fight the power!

I'm certainly not the only one, but I haven't wanted to wear a watch since I was in grade school. The big Timex of the time were too dang clunky to have on while using the keyboards, and who the heck needs a clock when they have games to be playing?
I certainly haven't had the desire for a watch since I've grown up - every screen I look at, everywhere I go, already tells me the time, from the microwave to the computer - keep yer watches. Or maybe... We don't need no stinkin' watches!
Might explain why I think Dick Tracy is dumb crap also, ugh. |
