I don't post here often but this pulled a heart string.
I've read gaming news here a since the very beginning.
I loved what red and stomped did back in the day and it's so great that blues has barely changed.
It may seem funny but it's literally the only page in my list of pages that i open up almost every single day for more than 20 years.
Now i really feel old.

Props for a well written and informative post.
I've never liked people blindly using TCP Optimizer without understanding what it was changing!
Flow Control and Interrupt Moderation are almost always best disabled in my experience.

Super polished game, easily accessible and good fun for a while but what you see is really what you get. The game has very little depth and the matches become very samey quite quickly.
I still recommend if you like these style games and don't have the opportunity to play games that require a larger time investment just don't expect it to stay interesting for long.

It's obvious they've barely touched the engine since the first game, as it has all the same issues (missing cover icons in SLI anyone?) but I don't really care. Same goes for the performance issue.

Ultimately its a turn based game and a decent one, so these things hardly cripple it like they would, say an FPS game.

But srsly. This game, huge disappointment. Dull as shiiiiit. This is the reason Destiny didn't come to PC, and sadly Destiny is better too.

And just to be clear, I played the alpha extensively. I doubt many frequent games players would get more than about 30 hours out of this.

Yeah what this guy says. The web suffers from issues like this by design but generally there are multiple levels of validation built on so that these things probably seem far scarier than they actually are to the layman
