Sorry to hear that PHJF, the sorrow when losing a friend and family member of 10-15 years can not be understood by those that haven't tried it.

I'd much rather see a proper VR option added to this game. And not the crappy Ross mod, alternate eye rendering is horrible.

Yeah, I just don't get it why that hasn't happened yet, it would be awesome to experience the Cyberpunk world in VR. I just don't want to subscribe to some Patreon hack to do it.

Mark Zuckerberg raged at employees over news report, ordered them to resign, leaked email shows.

The clickbait journalism at its finest. This is actually about an email from 2010.. and there is no information that anyone was fired.

Cambridge Analytica disagrees with you. As does Acxiom, Experian and Oracle Data Cloud. All four of whom Facebook has admitted to selling your personal data...

That is not true. Facebook never sold any data to Cambridge Analytica, let alone admitted that they did. CA aqcuired the data through an app they developed that was running on Facebook platform called "This is your digital life".

CHINESE Autonomous Vehicles join the list... they could have bothered to put that word into the headline, considering that China is mentioned 20 times in the article and is the reason it is considered a national security threat.

Remember boys and girls: Bitcoin, not Crypto!

Just buy Bitcoin, store the keys on a hardware wallet and forget the rest of the crypto space.

Should we buy it when it's below $16,000, below $10,000, back to below $5,000, or should we have bought it when it was $65,000?

My main point is that I advise you to stay out of all crypto, NFT and that shit, except Bitcoin. If you have no interest to invest in this space at all then this doesn't apply to you.

But regarding the price.. in the long term it won't matter too much.

What I've always read is that DST is geared towards giving people more daylight, in the mornings and into the afternoons

You can't have it both ways, you either get early morning or more in the afternoon.
Having it moved so daylight starts earlier actually decreases the total winter daylight hours for most people, since daylight in the morning before you wake up is wasted light. This also severely decreases the available light in the afternoon for activities after work.

I also put a big question mark on these studies about the health effects, since you have countries all over the world which are behind/ahead of the solar clock, and if it would make any difference to you health, it would be easily detected by statistics.

money for hobbies. I spent €250 on a pair of tyres for my gpz900 and another €150 for new brake discs and pads this summer. i didnt need to drop the oil this year and only managed about a thousand miles this year. Still, I love the old girl.

That's nice, those are tangible physical things.

Star Citizen is digital internet spaceships for hundreds of dollars.

You can buy the cheapest spaceships for $45.

Do you ever rent a movie? Buy a game on Steam? Buy a Netflix subscription? Too bad, you have now spent money on non-physical things. It's awful right?

Check out Android's new eerily natural reading voice

Why does it have to be described as "eerie"? Why not just say improved? Google voice quality was lagging compared to Microsoft's in my opinion having used both the Google and Azure voice API's. Good for them to finally improve it.

With ANC getting so good, we need a new set of rules.

Nice how the comment section is roasting the article author. "wE NeEd mOrE RuLeS BeCaUsE I Am iRrEsPoNsIbLe!"

Why dual boot? Just use WSL2, super simple and best of both worlds.

Edgerunners put Cyberpunk 2077 at the top again, yay.
CDPR making good as expected.
They've definitely got my attention again, purely off of how much effort they seem to be putting into the game. I finished the release version, with minor hiccups, I'll probably play through it again once the DLCs are all released and patched, etc.

I had some fun just riding/driving around in first person which on release the handling of vehicles felt like absolute garbage but it's pretty good now.

Very good to know. I played a few missions when it came out and really liked the atmosphere, story and graphics, but there was always something off about the driving experience. That and other things made me put it away so that I could pick it up again later when it received more TLC from the devs.
Now it seems it has been polished enough that I will give it another go.
