I grew up on Doom and I don't understand how anyone can call these games "Doom". The only thing they have in common with Doom is that they're first-person shooters, where the weapons and enemies visually superficially resemble their former selves.

Level design is abysmal, the Serious Sam-inspired "spawn arena" mechanics aren't Doom at all, movement is slow and laggy, weapons lack the oomph, the cutscene kill system is retarded, and the music, which used to be expressive and melodic, is now just sandpaper being rubbed against a microphone.

Do you REMEMBER Doom, folks? This ain't no fuckin' Doom. It's a mediocre satire of Doom, made by a bunch of retarded monkeys.

Gave up on Lost in Space after surviving 4 episodes of that crap. First of all, it's "Lost On Planet", or perhaps LOST "in space", if ya know what I mean. Except LOST had... actors, at least.

Netflix's "The Rain" has been panned, apparently, and it is a thoroughly mediocre show, however it actually has a plot that seems to move forward, which makes it more watchable than "Lost In Space".

My first experience with 3DFX was running Turok. I had a Matrox Mystique before, but it didn't have bilinear filtering or alpha blending. Probably no proper mipmapping either. The difference was shocking.
