Hey guys, guess who wrote this -
“The more funds we can raise in the pre-launch phase, the more we can invest in additional content (more ships, characters etc.) and perhaps more importantly we can apply greater number of resources to the various tasks to ensure we deliver the full functionality sooner rather than later.”
- written in September 2013

Or this from October 2012 -
"We’re already one year in - another two years puts us at 3 total which is ideal. Any more and things would begin to get stale."

Any guesses who it was?

Trump tweets?

They do sound very presidential.

I like what Michael Che said after being harranged on social media for saying "Boston is “the most racist city” he’s ever been to."
Che said he never apologizes for his language or controversial statements because “I’m just trying to be more presidential.”

lol

For those keeping count, latest 7 months funding:

August 2016: $4,200,000.00
September 2016: $2,100,000.00
October 2016: $5,000,000.00
November 2016: $7,750,000.00

January 2017: $1,750,000.00
February 2017: $1,900,000.00

So they are incentivized to drag out development as long as possible, because as soon as the game is finished, that unexplainable cash flow stops or subsides.

I am not like most of the people on these boards, I don't give a shit about the rich idiots who keep pouring money into this game. It's not my money. As long as the money keeps going into make this a better game, I can keep waiting.

if you actually think that money is going to "make this a better game" you are even more of an idiot than those rich idiots

Thanks for snipping out the rest of my post which touched on the idiots like you who think they know it all

You know, a lot of people hate Derek Smart because he's an arrogant tit sometimes but he's been calling this dumpster fire for what it is for a while now, even enduring death threats, etc to do it. And he's been right so much it's almost scary. You have to give the guy some credit for that.

What? He's been so right that he called they would implode and shut down like 2 years ago? and then 1 year ago? What is he saying now? that they will implode this year? or is it next year?

Obviously I'm sure Roberts is wasting some of the money on bad decisions but I am not going to assume I know how much really is wasted and how much is properly spent. I'll leave that the the armchair developers who always know better than the people actually making the game.

Best looking game you have ever seen is on a console? What?

"Poor Team work" Oh god, well guess 75% of Overwatch players are getting banned. Some of these are so subjective I don't know how they would justify a ban. I guess if enough complaints come in for different people. I've often seen people bitch about other's 'throwing', when the people doing the bitching appear to be the problem. Like the Sombra who was adamant the whole team had to play around them, or the Genji that goes on the mad flanks and wonders why they're not getting healed or have a Rien shield in front of them.

From the article, which I guess you failed to read?

"
Now, you might look at these options and see an anti-abuse system ripe for, well, abuse. Blizzard, though, has included very specific descriptions of what each category is and is not. “Poor teamwork,” for instance, is avoiding objectives and being verbally abusive to teammates. It’s not “playing a hero that is not considered optimal by the community or staying silent in voice chat.” Other categories are similarly strict. So presumably, if people try to report you for dumb bullshit, their reports will be disregarded and tossed out.

How is that NOT a fifth amendment protection? It's the very definition of self incrimination.
Because he does know the password, and has said so at other times. He just doesn't want to disclose it. Which long story short, he's not protected from since the authorities already know what they're going to find on it (they accessed the computer and know the hashes of the files he downloaded).

That's total garbage. So I see so now we are summarily convicting people without evidence and without trial.
If it's a foregone conclusion then charge the man and start the trial. Foregone conclusion means that you already have enough evidence to support the charges. If the entire case hinges on the discovery of actual evidence then the evidence you have is purely circumstantial and therefore is not a foregone conclusion.

There have been many, and will likely be more. You do know lawyers like filing class action lawsuits, right? It's one of their favourite things in the world. They make the most while doing the least.

yeah huge payouts for the lawyers and 10 bucks to each layman.

This game (vanilla) didn't seem to do very well, and doesn't have very favorable reviews: Overall "mixed", which is probably why it is on sale for 75% off ($9.99) right now.

I remember the first one being overhyped and under delivered, but had so much potential. When they announced the sequel, which development seemed to be an eternity, I thought they'd square things up and do well with it. But, it doesn't seem to be the case.

Anyone here give it a whirl? Worth $9.99?

yeah same Q, worth 9.99?
