Anyone wanna play this with me? Battle.net ID: Slick#1980

I think it's only 3-man squads like Apex, so having a half-decent team will undoubtedly make the experience better.

sure I'll give it a go, adding you

This and Stadia...keeping us all entertained in ways they never intended.

I wouldn't group Now in with Stadia because unlike Stadia, Now actually has an extensive existing library. Those five became the latest. There are, at least, support for close to 600 titles from different platforms.

sip

that's my point, it works good for loads of games, so the negative rhetoric isn't really that warranted

Thanks for the use of emojis in your announcement, Nvidia. Looks super fucking professional and not at all like the clown shoes dumpster fire service it is.

It works fine for me, not sure what dumpster fire you refer to.
I have a top of the line gaming rig and i use Geforce NOW so my significant other can game lets say RUST or whatever game that would never run on her laptop, able to plug her laptop into a monitor and get some good shit happening. For 5$ a month I think it's a great service that works great.

So what's a sweet curved 1440 Freesync monitor look like - cost wise?

The Alienware can be found for about $600 when looking around for deals and for that price it is a sweet ass monitor

sweet 34" widescreen 1440p

-edit, oops you had asked for FREESYNC, my bad

looks good on paper.

But I have the current 100hz 34" asus model widescreen and also have the 100hz Alienware 34" WS and i gotta say the Alienware picture quality is far superior to the asus which I had bought before and had paid quite a bit more as currently you can get the Alienware for like abt $600-700 which is real good for such a superb monitor.

I will wait and see what tech I jump on next but for now this monitor is great.

Speaking of phones. My Note 8 took a suicidal swan dive the other day and not even the case could save the screen. So I am looking for a replacement.

What I would like is a phone with a bone stock Android experience. No preloaded app crap and I plan to buy it outright from Amazon if at all possible so it doesn't come preloaded with a bunch of carrier bullshit either.

I remember in the past that Motorola and LG were suggested when someone else was in the same dilemma. Are they still solid?

Yes I recommend the Moto G7+ Plus (64GB, 4GB ram) international model goes for $198.00 on amazon
works great, big screen, fast

I work in a computer repair shop, and have had multiple laptops AND desktops come in. They complain that itís a gaming device but doesnít run games very well. All of them are branded as gaming devices but run bottom-end video hardware.

You know kids got these as gifts from parents who donít know any better. I have to explain to them that their machine (usually) has a surprisingly high end processor and 16+ GB of ram but none of that matters if itís running on-processor video (or a gtx710 in one case, in an ibuypower machine purchased 2 months ago, new).
Thatís depressing.

I pulled the trigger on a ďO.K.Ē gamingíish $1k laptop (7-9750H ,1660ti) not long ago but ended up cancelling it.
In the long run I knew Iíd never be happy with an under powered noisy over heating hot-boxed keyboard and would be better served building the tower Iíve been threatening to build for the last year.

good decision

That's exactly what the Epic Game Store is built on. Agile all the way baby. Beatnik

Completely true. They have shipping base software that works, even if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. Then they add those extra features as they build them. They make money and have satisfied customers at the same time, even if some curmudgeons complain that they don't have all the features Steam spent 15 years building after just a couple of years.

Sounds like you just insulted the majority of Bluesnews forum posters

The real question is:

Are any of you guys trying this?

I'm gonna give it a shot to test the waters and see how it does. My primary interest is just the ability to play across any device and switch between them quickly as needed, and the other benefits that come along with that (no downloads, patching, etc)

i had the beta and it worked fine but check out the microsoft offering instead, will be much better than this in all areas.

When I saw that the WaPo had something to do with it I immediately understood why the Wapo failed to disclose that the letter was obviously written before Blizzard had at least half-way restored the man's credentials. However, considering it was the WaPo, it may have been the WaPo that didn't know...;) That sounds about right to me. Some of the so-called "news orgs" have so tarnished their own credentials in their repeated publication of "news" *choke* that is often absurd on its face--repeatedly--that they are like the little boy who cried "Wolf!" it's very difficult to listen to them on any subject at all with confidence that the facts are being related. Why these news orgs suddenly believe that publishing attributed, independently verifiable fact is somehow a burden to them leads me to suggest that they are in the wrong business entirely...;)

WaPo is shit. I get all my news from Alex Jones and Breitbart.

Sprinkle in some Fox news, A.M Radio and Drudge Report an you are good to go! You will be able to swim in Walt C's universe of truthiness
