My faith in Gearbox is low. From what I've seen from all iterations of Borderlands, I doubt that they can improve it technically or design-wise. I expect a Borderlands 2.1. That recipe has lost its steam, as you can see in the Pre Sequel.

The game is free dude. You can buy cosmetic microtransactions to keep the devs paid, but you absolutely don't have to. This is microtransactions done right. Look elsewhere to complain.

Going through the campaign, which is gigantic, will gradually show you things in a way that shouldn't overwhelm you too much. You can also ignore all the old league stuff noooo problem. You can just pick it up when you're higher level. But yeah, don't try to make a build yourself, it's a waste of time. Google a good "league starter" build for that league and just do exactly that without even thinking.

Stalker is waaaay better than Metro. I don't really have faith that such a game can be created nowadays though.
There's a sitcom about game developers on french Canadian TV. It's all about trolls and it turns everything to 11. It's pretty cringy to watch, but you know people over ~50 think that gaming is a gateway to hell.
Opinion: Even with all its issues, Steam's review system is the best review system there ever was.

Supporting the Epic store with their crazy low cut for devs is pretty much the best thing you can do for yourself and the gaming industry at this moment. Sure it's a small inconvenience to support many launchers, but come on, not a reason to cry.

I think the title of the fire rate article may be clickbait. Didn't check the source vid, but the content of the article doesn't seem to match.
I still don't think that fundamentally replicating everything properly is technically possible with what hooks the game offers. Prove me wrong.

But, are you guys mad? No one mentioned that we don't want the Windows 10 app store and games exclusive to it? This is by far the best step to help PC gaming.
I'm not a big fan of the 3 different builds of MK10, but they seem to have changed that for customization instead, which does sound better. Another issue I had with 10 was that there were just too many moves. It was just a weight on the brain even if you didn't have to use them. Because of that I never got too deep in it. It always a good game to mess around with though, and it's fun for couch VS.

I mean, of course they're going to reuse their Ark engine, even if this was never planned as a DLC. What you should be annoyed with is that it's apparently terrible. Honestly, if you've played ARK, you shouldn't have confidence in them delivering.
Looks very amateurish or alpha, but I was entertained and curious.
It seems to me like it's way too early for this game to be gold, and I'm talking at least a year early. Not enough time passed since the last time we saw it and the state it was in. I just don't see how it's possible unless it's buggy as hell and they cut a lot of stuff.
Everspace plays amazing and is worth the money, but not a cent more. It's reallll grindy. I hope they're using that engine for a Freelancer clone.

Dave definitely seems a bit much on Twitter, but from my dealings and what I've heard, he's a good guy. Not sure I could live with him though :p
