I actually liked doom 3 better. I love horror games and atmosphere is one of the most important things for me. Also, I so miss games with dark areas... Seriously, what the hell.

It better not be fuckin' mega textures. Rage's textures look so bad even on max details, it's ridiculous.

I never tried psychonauts. It looks terrible. I rarely(never) like third person platformers. I understand that everyone likes it, but I'm rarely wrong in that department.

Wow, this is a joke. All the patch does is add a grain filter to the textures. They're as blurry as they were, except that now the textures look more glitchy and are hard to make up. I mean, the textures are crazy blurry, duke nukem 3d has sharper textures.

Also, what's with the plants/grass. It looks like a kid's first try at a grass drawing. It's also just a floaty sprite that always faces you. Skyrim has more details in a scene, has no invisible walls (rage has them EVERYWHERE) and has MUCH sharper textures and both games run as well.

Funny. Nowadays non-shooters become shooters and shooters become adventure games :p

The bad graphics are a huge part of why this game is so popular. The game is already awesome, and if you don't see that right now, you never will.

I also hate lawyers, but they do what they do and there's nothing we can do.

I personally would like minecraft to have better graphics, but it's not in their best interest.

I haven't played the bf3 beta, but from the screenshots, I still think Crysis 1 holds the crown for best graphics on all platforms. It's a lot more detailed.

Oh no, you had to take 30 seconds more in order to get in the same instance... And as far as the instance thing goes, you can join anyone, forever. Unless they're in a zone you don't have access to... In this case, your friends can give you access to the zones by going to the end of them and having you warp to them. I've logged hundreds of hours in coop, it works great...

I mean, unless you're overly bitchy/lazy, these are minor inconveniences for a free game, let alone, one that is that fun.

The game is just like the old version, but with more content and some improvements. In one word, it's a great game.

I never understood why some people didn't like it. I guess it's because they expected something else. This is a coop action rpg shooter with very deep loot and leveling systems, what's not to like?

Yeah, the combat isn't the strong point. It's functional. But if you're using guns, it takes a couple of hours of game before you get some that actually work well (and also you need the skills).

There's many excellent missions all throughout the game.

"You have to be sensitive to control differences, and make sure you're accommodating that" - What? The only way to accomodate that is to penalize mouse controls or to add a significant aimbot to gamepad users. Both are terrible in competitive games... Unless they prevent you from playing with people with different control schemes, which isn't really cross platform.

I think that the always online thing is great. It allows developers to protect their games from pirates and it doesn't have the negative side effects of most DRM methods. This is perfect DRM. I don't know a single person who isn't online 100% of the time. Sure there will be some people negatively affected by this, but there's also a lot of other advantages and I think that this is a step forward.

It's insane that they're still updating it, but awesome at the same time. I plan on playing the game again in the future for the fourth time. It's in my top 5 games of all time for sure.

Bethesda makes all the dungeons by hand, but yeah, from huge chucks of cookie-cutter hallways and stuff. It's not that hard, but it does take a long time.

I would love to have randomly generated dungeons. In fact, I'm saddened that Skyrim is just like Oblivion. I think that they can make a much better game by taking cues from Daggerfall in the random department.

I saw an extended 15 minute gameplay video and the interface is completely consolized. Unless they rewrite it completely for PC, it's going to be a pain in the ass to play the game. I hope you like scrolling.

You can't really compare graphics in a low resolution video... That's silly. Also, the guy never looks at textures up close. This would probably be the biggest difference between both versions.
