Played the games back in the day. They weren't my cup of tea. One Must Fall 2097 was a much better game with Jazz in it. Also, why the hell aren't there more Fighting games with RPG elements like OMF 2097?? That's the way to bring them to the mainstream.
And RPG elements in fighting games have given way to unique classes. Which makes it clearer to the opponent what the abilities are of a fighter.

I also don't get what Valve has to gain from this. Firewatch was a pretty good walking simulator. Not the best, but it had more gameplay than most. I can't wait for their next game though, it looks like such a rich idea.
What would you consider the pinnacle of the genre? Edith Finch?

Bummer about AvED getting axed. Instead we get more Grey's Anatomy and Super Star shows... Oh well. Maybe Raimi can interest Netflix or Amazon into some more AvED.
The show's ok, but nothing great. Honestly, the schtick gets old fast.

Now as to your ascertain that women have less interest in high paying job types then men, I can't speak to that. But if you have any documented evidence I'd be glad to look at it. Even if it exists, it would be difficult to account for women who avoid male dominated professions simply because they don't want the hassle of doing it.
If you do the salary average, which is what created this article's headline, of course women will earn less. The higher paying jobs like engineering are mostly occupied by men.
Personally, I think it is reasonably clear there is still a fair amount of social pressure/thinking/momentum which causes reduced support for women in engineering and other male dominated professions. It isn't an easy problem to solve...

One of the worst games I've ever played. I'd rather play E.T. on the Atari.
That good eh? Well now I have to play this thing. lol
