So basically people are playing alpha early access and maybe in half a year or more this game will reach waht it should be at release date for the price people paid for.
If it wasnt for the name recognition this mmo would be long forgotten.
Mashiki Amiketo wrote on Jan 29, 2014, 21:24:Actually I do know the lore and settings, I've been under NDA for quite a while thanks. So again, what I said holds true especially if you're just grabbing the game to grab it.
PS: you dont see Molag Bal in the trailer.

Usually intro cinematics exist to give you an idea of what's going on, happening, why, etc. And all I got from that is: "People are fighting each other, some other people, and then some more fighting..." But no reason why, no intro information or anything else.
I have no idea what is going on in that trailer, but to bad the game won't be anything like that.

So, they're charging $60 to buy the game, and a subscription too?
Who does that anymore?

It's a shame because Vanguard had all the makings of a truly awesome MMO. Had they actually done it properly out of the gate it would have been a solid contender with WoW. Apart from the obvious, unfinished problems, underneath was a game with amazing potential. So many races and classes, flying mounts, ships you could craft and sail, wicked crafting system, diplomacy system, etc. They should have shitcanned McQuaid after that one.

I was on the anti-Windows 8 bandwagon for a long time until I actually tried it. Now I actually like it quite a bit.

Heya all,
If anyone wants my invite for this Jan 10-12 stress test, let me know.
I won't be able to participate and I'm happy to give it away if someone wants. (first request gets it, not posting key as I'd prefer not have some random lurker get the key)

However, Clatworthy said he still expected to receive the Xbox One because the item was listed in the "video games and consoles" category on eBay.
Hahaha! I know it was a dickish thing to do but I can't help laughing. The seller posted a photo of the console and sent the same photo to the winner! That's hysterical!
I don't get how it is misleading either.. it clearly said "photo" and he got the photo... sure was an expensive photo... but that ain't misleading, and people buy butt fucking ugly "art" for more.

I just don't think it's my cup of tea. I won't say any more than that here.
I will say I am an Elder Scrolls fanboy - I own boxed copies (original) of all of them, including Collector's editions of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.

Isn't it a bit 'dick'ish' to say 'hey you bought the console I hate, and I'm glad your suffering' when at the end of the day, people just want to play games, and the game they really want to play isn't on YOUR console?
Hate on the companies for shoddy work is one thing, but because they just want to play games.... seriously?
Shouldn't we have a collective 'FUCK YOU!' to both PS4 and One owner's because we are elitist PC Gamers, who typically have to suffer because of the inferiority of the latest generation of console hardware?
I had a PS3 for the few games that interested me, and I have a 360, and have had a 3DS, and have a PC.
I got a NES for Mario World, SNES for Legend of Zelda/F-Zero, a Gameboy for Tetris and Robocop,Any Gameboy that had the Pokemon games, N64 for more Zelda and Mario, a Atari Lynx because it was just fucking cool at the time, a Gamecube for even more Zelda, a Sega Master System/Genesis/Sega CD for Sonic the Hedgehog, a Playstation for Warhawk and Twisted Metal, a Xbox for Halo, a 360 for more Halo and Forza/PGR Racing, and finally a PS3 for Infamous 1&2, and I bought my first PC back in 1988-1990 for the Sierra 'Quest' line of games, and yes, even for Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards
If I had the option to purchase both the One and PS4 I would. Why? Because I'm a fucking GAMER. I want to play Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5, and I really want to play Infamous 3, but I spend most of my time gaming on my phone and my PC.
And what I find is funny is either the BLOD, RROD, Yellow Light of Death, etc are all heinous crimes against the buyer of the machine, when we had to blow into the cartridges, insert a book or another game into the console, or turn the console upside down or some other trick with the NES. Hell the NES was the VW Beetle of it's time. There were 50 ways to get the damn thing to run after it died.
But to resort to petty bullshit because a gamer recieved bad hardware is stupid.
