News Comments > Overwatch Launches PvE Mode and Halloween Skins
17. Re: Overwatch Launches PvE Mode and Halloween Skins Oct 12, 2016, 10:58 Mordecai Walfish

First Halloween box I opened had a zenyatta legendary skin (Ra) in it, and a symmetra victory pose where she's buried underground with her hand sticking up out of the dirt in front of a tombstone that has a couple of her laser turrets attached to it. Almost at prestige 3 level so will be getting a new box almost every game for the first 10 levels, and probably grind up to about level 20 when it goes back to full xp/lv. Saved over 9k coins so I'll just buy the good skins I'm missing at the end of the event. I don't spend coins on shit, in anticipation of new stuff being added or limited time stuff like this.

That will be the case regardless of who the Dems elected. They did the same thing to Bill Clinton. Partisanship is just too strong right now for the Repubs to act sanely.

I wholeheartedly agree with this, but there is no way it would be to the extent that they will with Hillary. She has been the republican's boogeyman for quite some time now, with the repeated benghazi hearings, the e-mail scandal that many of them believe she should be in prison over, etc. No other current democrat I know of has the same level of hatred directed toward them as she does. It's a whole different level with her, and republican voters will flock to vote in the mid-term elections for anyone who campaigns on the platform of defying her and the goals/policies she tries to push, in any way they can. There is no greater rallying call to get republicans to the booth than Hillary right now.

It needs about 4 more maps, and not trickled in, all at once.

Different game modes would be nice too. It's good they are adding in public custom playlists at some point, but there needs to be more content in many different regards to retain different types of players. Once the game became all about competitive, many players simply didn't want to deal with the stress that comes with that and have moved on. 90% of the players in my friends list (80+) simply do not log in to Overwatch anymore. It seems like there has been a huge decline across the board in the past couple months.

More Wikileaks are coming out and should be pissing off Bernie supporters who gave money to his campaign only to see him torpedoed by the Clinton cheating with the DNC.

Will Democrats pay attention? Probably not. They know Hillary is a corrupt candidate but she will be their corrupt candidate.

Bernie's campaign was the first I've ever donated to and volunteered for.. it's such a shame that the DNC actively tried to shut him down, especially with how close he was to beating Hillary. He would have been a sure thing against Trump, especially with all the scandals that have been revealed. Any decent candidate would easily win against their opponent in that situation, but with Hillary it's still not a done deal because she is a tremendously shitty candidate as well. It's a shame that Bernie probably will not be a viable candidate in 2020 to run against her if she ends up being a terrible president, which is no doubt going to be the case, as I dont see the republicans going any easier on her than they did on Obama. I expect they will be much less willing to work with her, and the shitshow of obstructionism we've seen so much in recent presidencies will continue full throttle. God I don't want to vote for her, but Trump is a fucking lunatic and Gary Johnson is a moron who is unfit for office as well. The next 4-8 years are pretty much fucked from all angles at this point.

When this releases I will actually be playing through skyrim for my first time. I've had the legendary edition for a while now, but had so many other titles on the backburner that I didn't want to get into the 200+hr adventure I knew was in front of me quite yet. I'm a bit too much of a completionist to just play the main story line, and I rarely use online guides or walkthroughs for any single player games.

Glad I waited to play the best version my first go-round, it's gonna be a fun winter =)

Who has ever been threatened with lethal force over the size of their toilet or light bulb purchasing choices in this country?

Character animations look like they're straight out of a flash game, and possibly the worst jumping sound from the main char I've ever heard in a game.

Pass

Yes, and will continue to be a 'thing'.. Hydra and all that. It's much like the laughing man from ghost in the shell. Even if you were to kill or imprison any powerful or influential member, another will eventually be there to take their place.. perhaps not completely, but in accordance to their own particular convictions/motives and skill sets. This also makes it succiptible to outside entities that could pose as the group to defame them, or use their platform to push a somewhat radical political position like this tea party message we see here today.

They should Kickstart a new game and fund the lawsuit.

We all knew DH wouldn't succeed.

They're crowd funding their legal action. It's not going well.

lol...
They don't have my sympathy.

Their crowdfunding is costing them far more than it's netting them. People are donating the smallest amount possible and then issuing chargebacks through their card company, which is costing them like $25 a pop.

Hyper Light Drifter is a really fun indie 16-bit-ish ARPG. Highly recommended if you're into that sort of thing. Very unique in it's presentation and gameplay.

Just wanted to advise people that are emulation/Zelda fans that Hypatia has released the final version of the Wind Waker HD mod that has been in the making for 4+ years now.

http://onthegreatsea.tumblr.com/

All textures are updated and it looks fantastic on the dolphin emulator (Recommended to use the Ishiiruka Build of dolphin, as it runs faster and has additional graphics/performance tweaking options)

Funny story about Wind Waker: My first playthrough of the game was in 2008 on the GameCube, and during that time the area that I live in had the largest flood ever recorded in this region. I'm now about halfway through my 2nd playthrough of the game and we are currently having the 2nd worst flood (so far) in this region's history. The nearby river just crested at 22ft today.

The Legend of Zelda is such a magical series <3 Flood

I like this girl!

Agreed. She doesn't take herself too seriously, communicates with her viewers without going too overboard, from what I saw linked from this article. The butthurt twitch streamers think she is robbing them of followers because of her massive fanbase, and put her down for not being a "real content creator", but that's just a bunch of BS from people who are jealous of how many views/followers she gets, and not to mention is hypocritical as shit. If you had some Italian dude with a v-neck showing a bit of chest hair, do you think he would get banned? Not likely.. but then again, he most likely wouldn't have as man viewers, so people would not be as jealous of him.

She isn't doing anything racier than what you can see in any music video made in the past 2 decades. I don't see what the issue is.

Everspace is locked to 30FPS on XB1. Ouch! You'd think a space combat engine without fully detailed worlds to render could manage more..

This debate is going to be Trump calling Hillary weak on security and blaming Obama/Democrat policy over the past 8 years for continued terrorist events in the country. While Hilary or the moderators may try to steer the conversation towards policy and other issues besides terrorism, Trump will continually try to deflect it toward this, because that is what will get him the most votes from republicans.

The race is far from over, and the prospect of him becoming president is *very* real. There is no room for complacency here.

3. Re: Street Fighter V Patch Rootkit Removed Sep 24, 2016, 16:03 Mordecai Walfish

When capcom "fixed" this, it left the offending file on a lot of people's computers still, without the ability to delete it without going into safe mode or some other workaround.

I don't think capcom could have fucked up the release of SFV more if they tried.. 7 months since release and they still have gotten very little right besides having a competitive fighting game ready for tournaments. simple things like rebindable controls for the pc version and support for their own licensed fight sticks they sell for the PS4 (directinput) are still not there. It just boggles the mind what their priorities are right now.. releasing characters like Urien who is animated about as badly as the characters from Clay Fighters on SNES, instead of focusing on making the core game/experience solid first.

Is there a better way to bridge the retard-gap?

Well, I wouldn't call you so much a retard as a low-information voter. No need to insult someone when they can simply educate themselves. There is always hope for someone like you, and this is where you can start.

Look into Obama Administration's scandals over the past 8 years (making a deal with Iran which pretty much lets it make a nuclear bomb, and lying about negotiating with "moderates" over there, IRS-as-Stasi scandal, NSA expanded spying scandal, sacrificing Americans on American soil in Benghazi and lying about it for weeks, reporter spying, keeping the press out of the White House, violating judge's immigration orders, suppressing our border enforcement laws, destabilizing the Middle East, the VA scandal, creating a new Cold War with Russia, removing Cuba from state terror sponsor list, repeatedly inciting racial division and attacks on police, shitting on America in his speeches overseas, etc), and not just the ones covered by Pravda- sorry, I meant CNN or Reuters.

Look into his past of 20 years under the spiritual tutelage of fascist, anti-Semite Jeremiah Wright, who blessed his wedding, and his other father figure, the radical commie Frank Marshall Davis. Listen to him morally equating socialism and capitalism, and cover for the world's most militant, backward religion time and time again, all the while posing as secular.

Then step away from the media soundbytes which compress Trump's message into two words. Watch a complete speech of his. See the man who speaks off the cuff, and yet channels the common sense that has long been gone from our government. An energetic, charismatic man with a heart and street smarts, a man with a message so much more positive than anything Obama has ever droned off his teleprompter.

A man who, despite vicious attacks from the media, which programmed low-information voters like yourself to hate him, and attacks from popular conservatives and even Fox News, outmaneuvered his political competition, outmaneuvered the press, and is outmaneuvering Hillary Clinton.

These are the qualities we need in a Commander-in-Chief. What we don't need, is someone who is knowingly importing Muslim radicals into our country, which essentially makes Obama the biggest homophobe in American history. If you can't connect those particular dots, look up Wikipedia and Pew research statistics on what percentage of Muslims, similarly imported into France, Britain, Germany, UK etc, and even the ones already here, believe that homosexuality is a sin, what percentage believe in violent jihad and Sharia Law, what IS Sharia Law, etc.

Hopefully this will help you in your goal. Get informed, and godspeed.

I feel like I just watched 12 hours of fox news after reading this. It's almost as if you've reached the fabled peak of propaganda mountain. Good god, man.. I hope they're at least paying you halfway decently to syndicate such unfiltered amounts of bullshit at this level.
