And with all those incredible demanding games out there , its about fucking time those card arrived ......................

Maybe this will be the card that allows people to maintain 60fps+ with max settings (including grass) in GTA V at 1080p+.

River City Ransom Underground was released today! WOOOHOOO!

Been waiting 4 years for this game!

It is just as friggen difficult, chaotic, and controller breaking as the original on NES! Awesome.

Add me on steam (same name), let's co-op!

River city Ransom Underground turned out great. Already being heralded as one of the best beat'em ups of all time. PC Linux and Mac support out the gate with 4 player online co-op. Everything seems to be working smoothly, with the only downside I've seen so far being that you can't play online along with 2+ players locally. The devs said they are planning on getting this working though.

Good to see Inside picking up a couple awards here. Loved that game, even though it was rather short.

This game always seemed like a console focused title, though I'll probably give it a try as I do love medieval combat games.

Personally, I'm most looking forward to Mordhau, a decidedly PC focused combat game: https://mordhau.com/

Holy shit, this thing curbstomps the 7700K.

I was really not expecting that. Now i want to upgrade

16 threads on the AMD vs 8 threads on the 7700k. If you look at the single core data, the 7700k is still the stronger cpu.

For relative single core performance, see this image:

https://cdn.videocardz.com/1/2017/02/AMD-Ryzen-Chart-6.png

of course, with the boost enabled and the ram actually running at legitimate timings, this can only get better. the intel is running @ 4.2 ghz vs 3.4 on the AMD, so this could very well be a better chip at equivalent clocks. we should all wait and see some real-world benchmarking with this before jumping on the AMD2017 train, IMO. Have to say, things are looking good so far though!

1500-2500 seems like the reasonable range for this, IMO.

Given that they reached 70 million in sales back in November of last year, that would mean GTA V, now a four year old title, has sold 5 million copies in the past 4 months alone.

Red Dead Redemption 2 online multiplayer to be major focus.

Not surprised (hell, expecting it), I just hope it doesn't compromise the story/SP.

This does not bode well for the prospect of single player DLC, as was the case with GTA:V, it's probably going to be all online updates after the release. Prove me wrong, Rockstar. I dare ya. =P

But at least it does bode well for a PC port.

True that! The only other title that has consistently sold as well on PC in the past 5 years is probably Skyrim. I'd expect that would make PC a target platform for all their future releases, but I don't doubt they will have console exclusivity for a while before the PC release, unfortunately.

They really need to get on the ball with releasing new maps on a regular basis. One a month until they have a good amount of content there, and not the same 3-4 maps for each game type, as they currently have. Can run on the same hamster wheel for so long until it gets old. A server browser will be a nice addition though, depending on how they implement it.

It is surely a strange trend, hearing everyone talking about "future proofing" by getting a rx480 instead of a 1060, when pc graphics advance so quickly. Getting a strong card that performs well today in a wide variety of games is most important, IMO. Reddit seems to have this never-ending circle jerk about the rx480 and I would always get instantly brigaded against when bringing up points to the contrary of the 480 being some powerhouse that just was waiting to be honed by next gen drivers/games. By the time the games that utilize dx12/vulcan properly come out, that card will be low end and people will want to upgrade anyways. Chalk up a win for AMD's marketing department there, I guess.

survival is the new WW2

Rust is still the best of them

Can you play Rust locally / single player? I bought it when it was first released, and played the heck out of it, but I've heard a ton has changed and wanted to see what was new. But I don't see a way to start your own server or play locally. Is that an option in Rust do you know?

You could jump through some hoops to run your own server and connect to it, but a better bet would be to just join one of the thousands of servers with no people on it. There are plenty of empty servers to choose from.

My votes are Subnautica for single player survival, rust for multiplayer.
