C&C4 messed up the story line and game play so bad there isn't much to recover. What are they going to do? Make it an interstellar campaign like SC2?

Any other sector being retail and customer service? I know a coder working for a military contractor and a 3D generalist working for an aviation company. The pay, benefits, and job security blow the entertainment sector out of the water. The drawback? Uncreative and repetitive work.

Maybe R* won't miss my money, but indy devs will definitely appreciate my $60.

Maybe they can buy the AI that EA started using with BF5.

Watched a lot of console gameplay yesterday. Looks like they're giving it their best rather than phoning it in again. If Treyarch delivers a made-for-PC UI instead of just porting the mess that's the console UI they could end up with a lasting title.

Maybe EA-DICE should delay BF5 for another year.

It's popular because you can eat people, pee on people, and shit on people. If you buy the supporter pack you can also search your own feces for supplies. It's a sociopath's dream game.

It's fun for a bit but the upgrade system, compared to BF3/4, is going to hurt this game long-term. I thought BF5 wasn't going to have anything other than cosmetic upgrades? Guess the shareholders didn't like that idea, given all upgrades cost DiceBux in addition to grinding.

Vehicle gameplay is just bad all around.

I'll see how Beta 2 looks but it's not ready for November. It feels like they forgot they had to make a game and they're cramming like it's finals week. Post Scriptum, Insurgency, and WW3 are probably going to eat this game's market share alive after the initial launch population gets bored unless DICE pulls its head out its butt and gets in the game.

That loophole applies here in FL, too. Otherwise, FL law does not allow minors in bars, nor firearms (even conceal carry). Given it was operating as a "sports bar" themed around video games, they were in that loophole area. But legal and liable aren't the same.

Was there any licensed security hired for the event? Even just a single bouncer? If not, that's another strike. Florida is full of licensed contractors big and small who can put a warm body on scene just to cover liability. My local indoor mall brings in security for Gamestop midnight launches as a matter of protocol.

This thing has legs, but it'll settle fast followed quickly by a PR statement about changes and higher standards for future sponsored events.

As an outside observer, this dev path reminds me much of Planetside 2.

This game was pay-to-win since the kickstarter when the bundles included ships with lifetime insurance. Never having to pay anything for a replacement ship is a huge advantage, which will be available to no one else. Though I'm sure when it launches, Chris will sneak lifetime insurance onto the cash shop when the dollar signs slow down.
