30M Steam Passes, oh sorry, I thought I was reading something referring to 10% of USA's unemployed.

To those who say if it aint on Steam, it aint worth playing, I suppose you havent seen GOG.com, or otherwise, have a top 10 game list in your head that haven't been, and never will be, on either of these sites.

True, more than 200,000 thousand people who have played to love D1 and D2 will be perished prior to the D3 chapter1 release of late 2013 or mid 2014, (SC2 saga has to be completed obv), but I am willing to wait, because I don't want D3 in it's current state. It will feel like a 3D cartoon fest if rel'd too early. pls Blizzard, make it a DX11 or DX12 supported title. add the realism to the characters. don't let me feel let down in the first enemy encounter, realizing that every one of the 50 goblins has the EXACT same 3D triangle render to them with no distinguishable outlined physical features whatsoever. Or this will surely make the undead go dead and roll over in their graves once more. In anycase, I look forward to playing D3 chapter 1 of 4 @ $59.99 digital release (no box, no manual, No Lan, who cares)+ $5 per microtransactions in all it's glory when it is finally out "finished when it's done". In the mean time, I will enjoy Dungeon Seige3 , and Titan Quest2, and the non-replayable borefactored Torchlight 2 till D3 hits on my new Graphene Intel Core3-100 core CPU with Holographic 3DS-esque displays.

True, some pay much more, when you factor in Lost work Productivity, credit card interest rates, lack of income, cheetos, soft drinks, cigarettes, health costs, internet fees, and buspasses. I wonder if Blizzard makes a cut from that too. ;p

I logged in to do the math for fun. correct me if I'm wrong.

12,000,000Wowtards X 15measlybucks x12months = 2,160,000,000.

Thats 2.16 Billion Dollars a year.

anyone care to comment on % of this goes to admin and maintenance?
even if 50% (which is less for sure), Blizzard still pockets a Billion a year.
