Joystick was a must for Atari2600 (no KB support)

Colecovision had a gamepad with a Jack Russell complex, it tried hard to be a telephone and a calculator, yearning to sprout into something KB like.

NES Supermario, with 2 buttons, was the only game in existance to ever make a gamepad Fun to use.

Analog Gamepad was a must for early NFS games (until the First FFB wheel came to market)

PC RTS: The Mouse and KB is here to stay forever. All the other input devices fail miserable in their precense.

Console: So funny to race GT5 online, you can always tell who uses wheel vs gamepad.

I was sincerely hoping this game would never come out. Way to go to kill off all hope! Did someone finally source the 5.25" Floppy disk readers to get this game gold?

Night racing 'only?' What is this, Doom3 meets NFS?

Too bad, I did thoroughly enjoy Shift1 though, I was hopeing this was a step up, and not down.

I will be busy playing GT5, no dice on this one EA, sorry.

Please put this on Onlive, many more people will be able to play this if you use that service. Installing this game is going to be a bitch, and if I'm lucky I'll get minimum specs, seems like the perfect type of game for OnLive.

*bites tongue*

Anyways, woah! 20 gigs! AND an i5? Damn.

Creston

not just i-5, but Second Gen (Sandy Bridge, out only this Jan 9th) i-5

ahh, me thinks it will be a good game! I miss RTS.

As verteran gamer from circa Atari2600 , Nes, Amiga500, right up to now (expensive PC that is thirsty for gg's), I bought and played through Torchlight1, knowing it was a Diablo Clone, (What's not to love about Diablo Clones? I have no clue why there aren't two dozen more such games out there, they are amongst the very best in terms of immersion and fun.)

In anycase, staying OT, I wish to say that Torchlight 1, was worth the $20. But I got what I paid for. and the game had literally Zero Replayability factor. That , and finding loot with the EXACT same specs as current loot, totally disheartened this game any further. But all is forgiven and I look forward to TLII. I will be my own judge if it has replayability. Diablo II, sitting on my bookshelf, calls me for replayability, but I am keeping that treasure sealed for D3, when I take 2 years off work to play it to death. Literally.

Blizzard CEO's stare at the RealTime CashCow© scrolling marquee, and tweak and maintain the wowtard subscription base at peak levels.

It's all good, I just jest.

I can't wait for the day when a game company gets created, where the leads and designers are gamers themselves, make games for the people, by the people, and shuts EA down for good. (along with their servers)
Beancounters. But millions more will buy BF and Sims, so EA isn't going anywhere soon, but more up.

Yes, it was adjustable.

Seeing how it took over 3 months for Blizzard to denounce a change to Diablo II for increasing the stash size of a few pixels, I think D3 is on track to be released for the next colonized civilization on Earth, after the coming ice age, in 35,000 years. Give or take a millenium or two.

Is there seriously someone who owns WoW, Burning Crusade and Lich King and DOESN'T have Cataclysm? This free trial seems aimed at a subset of WoW fan that quite likely simply doesn't exist...

Me. Although, even though I have all those previous games, I wll not play the new expansion. I did the mistake , well, not grave, at least I tried it for a day, I bought into 6 months repaid, with wow-chest, and lichking, and just... it didn't hook me. It *might* hook me today, but I know that playing wow, will deny me of playing Any other great game out there. I blame not only piracy for the decline in PC games, but also WOW. It stole innovation, and souls. I also blame Apple. I don't know what to say about Apple to back my claim, but I just do. Oh and Facebook. Cancer corporations in IT 2010+

I'm off to play Pacman on my PS3.

Blizzard execs, step aside, you will need to sit down for this one:

Clearly, if you want to make a TRillion dollars with your next game, simply call it TITAN: WOW vs.Diablo. Hybrid MMO/RTS

enough said.

anything less, would not whet your money belt as much.

I actually just now, yesterday, for the first time, started playing WoW. It sucks as a game, I hate it, but I keep playing it.

I don't think that's normal. Seriously. Those freaks that play WoW usually get some little glimmer of enjoyment.

Those that are smarter and have played a lot of games and don't enjoy WoW won't ever become addicted.

I've played thousands of games and own every system ever produced. I just started playing WoW yesterday and it's easily the best game I've ever played.

(see, I can do this, too!)

I've too have played thousands of games and own every system ever produced. I just started playing WoW (when Lich King came out) and it's easily only game I've ever played for just 6 hours, once , and never touched it again. Not for me, although I am a dedicated Diablo, Dungeon Seige, and Warcraft RTS / CNC RTS player.
