apparently Day9 will be streaming it live today, to those tens of millions who wish for a beta key, but will never have one.

I still have this PCI express soundblaster XFI soundcard in my system, and I'm not sure why I haven't killed it with fire yet, because when I play back mp3 music on it, I can hear the midrange fading in and out, almost warp like, as if volume going up and down 20% randomly.

for games playback, i don't have this issue. when i disable all that crap that creative claims to have monopoly on, like Crystalization, XFI enhance, whatever DSP checkboxes, surround, when I disable them all, LOL then the sound becomes better.

Going to get me an Asus Xonar ST essence.

Also, I can imagine the PS3 saying, WTF IS THIS IN MY USB PORT!!!! I AM A DTS HD BLURAY FFS!

Back in the day of my Amiga 500, I learnt never to shoot a civilian in the game: Capone ; for I hated to wait 2 and a half minutes for the floppy to reload the game chapter.

I loved the first deathspank, and this engine has the potential to dethrone Diablo, it is epic smooth on the PS3, if Hothead can make a gothic macabre Action RPG, I'd bury Blizzard with a million copies of it.

Also, WAY more enjoyable than Torchlight 1.

GT5 patch 1.11 broke some fundamental things in game. Will wait for 1.12 soon. poor PD.

I'm still buying it to play it through, once, just like TL1. This game was designed to have zero replayability factor, totally unlike Titan Quest and Diablo 2. Let's hope TL2 has an element of surprise. However, we do get what we pay for, so to speak.

I also find if eerily amusing how TL2 is looking very much to be like Deathspank. Hmmmmmmm....

However I will buy BF3 from a Local EB store, since I never played a BF before, and this one looks to be much better than the past, and if it requires me to login, well then they can mine my login hours, who cares.

It's not really beyond me, as Ballmer (and MS by proxy) doesn't give two flying fucks about PC gaming. So why would he invest in gaming studios for the PC?

hmm perhaps they should stick to WHQL (whore house quality) instead of AHQL (auction house..)
