I played the Beta as Witch Doctor , and I am eager to buy and play this game , giving it a good run, however, I will not make this a religious experience as Diablo 2 was back in it's day. I know this is a game to appease the WoW cash generators, and a skinned Starcraft 2 game, with loot drops depending on the market place governed by Blizzard CEO's and nothing more. Still, art style is very good, The sound in dungeons of crying dead is awesome, and am looking forward to balance tweaks and meeting the further bosses. Oh and the Skeleton King, was a joke to kill, I know it's Beta, but Andy in Diablo 2 Act 1 was 75 times harder. I was lucky to find a Bow with 11 damage, +2 electric damage, and my pets were dealing my weapon damage, I was walking through the last stage of the Beta, with +Multikills every step of the way. Bow / Witch doctor, Very Very (easy) fun.

The current UI / hotbar in my opinion though , is a major stepback from D2, God I will miss the F-Keys for skill concertos.

And to all Diablo Experts that say Bestbuy fake until Blizzard says so, well, if Blizzard is about to say so, then you all fail.

This is the only game I will buy from EA (still being published by) since ZeroHour. I am happy for this news, as it was the best CNC Game (competitive/co-op multiplayer) ever to dawn the genre. This was the GodFather of Rock-Paper-Scissor speed-battlechess. Good to know someone out there is listening to the fans, and bring the next best thing to the table. I welcome any changes, that teaser looked epic. Nothing could ever be worse than RA3 / CNC 3/4. I hope my RTS motor skills will still be up to par in 2013. FYI, I've played this since Dune2 on the 386. Well, at least we have Diablo3 to hold us over till then.

Path of Exile folks. I am starting the Beta tonight. a real fan based Beta, where you sign up and ask to partake, and they give it to you without requiring a BJ from Blizzard/Activision's janitors, or without requiring a hardware analysis, that Blizzard can't even get right, because they don't detect an SSD drive in your system.

p.s when D3 is actually sitting on store shelves, I'll be looking at other games sitting next to it.

nothing to be alarmed at folks, it's just Blizzard promoting their game via Euro Social media. I have a GTX 570, 16GB of DDR3 1866, SSD and can't decide whether to go PC or PS3 with this one. Reason being, I'm welcoming the 3rd person gameplay on a game like this, (I cannot bear that floaty FPS crap that's been going on since Wolfenstein-386, gives me vertigo.

Can anyone care to say which route I should go? I will probably still go PC, because my PS3 is reserved forever for GT5; when I eject that disc, I mourn tears that could cure cancer.
