5 things PS4 needs at launch, and you write don't expect GT6 on day 1?

don't bother releasing the PS4 until GT6 comes with it, Sony / PD

I'm not sure what the best solution is, but I do think gear switching right before a kill is a lame mechanic.
What's lame is that the only worthwhile gear is in Inferno, and the elite packs in inferno are random luck: either they're killable or they're not.
I think leaving a game because you reach a screwed up elite pack is more of a problem than switching gear during a fight.

Oh and if Blizzard could fix the blacksmith to make useful gear we'd play a lot more. Having to scan through the auction house where everything is in the millions of gold that's only accessible to bots makes zero sense. Don't even get me started on the RMAH.

There are 'Diamonds in the rough' to be had in the GAH, but you have to be lucky, and they are not always accessible, much like finding things in gameplay.

This morning, I picked up a lvl 51 ring, with 21minutes remaining in the auction, that I know was worth over 20 million gold along everyone elses up above, and I won it for 25 thousand gold. this ring alone will make my hell game playable, (100 STR, 120 VIT, Attack speed 6% , crit chance 4%, socketable)

you have to beat Blizzard at their OWN game, this is what makes the game fun for ME.

"There needs to be something else that keeps people engaged, and we know it's not there right now"

clearly, with the 45 Billion dollars of liquid cash Blizzard has, they should just rush out Diablo 4, and bury the hatchet with D3.

D3 is a fine game, but it is incomplete for most seasoned Diablo connaisseurs, and I highly doubt, there can be a miracle fix to D3, unless Blizzard releases free 15GB content of new story line and moster AI remake.

oh and Blizzard, stop showing off, and do bring back the Necromancer, what on earth were you thinking for letting him not be in this game?
epic retardation.

and leave WoW out of this game for crying out loud. you have WoW, it makes you money, is someone governing you to inject WoWtardization into Diablo3? just sad really.

the entire DB is known? that's news to me.. if that is a fixed case, then i regress about Blizzard nerfing items down.

now why do people play to get known items for? is my next question..

I love how 2 million LVL 60 Diablo3 players are jumping up and down for joy over this hotfix, but little do they know that the quality of those items are nerfed down, and will still require AH/RMAH to get the best items for play that Blizzard themselves , generate in there.

I had tons of fun with this little game, in their previous installment. I would buy this on PS Vita, if they could really seriously consider porting it. I know many Vita owners would. I hope Apple doesn't prevent them from doing such a favor to gamers out there.

Blizzard died a terr-ible death inside me, when they left DiabloII left out to wilt as it did. They could have expanded that game, or made timely sequels 5 times over, instead of this disenchanting greedfest that is now tied into Casino gambling. (Blizzard is a casino house, they program their own machines)

it's sad, I expected D3 to be much much more than what I've seen so far, but I think, if Blizzard is keen on keeping the income steady, then they will have to cater to the masses, will have to replay this game 1 year from now (some 15 patches later), in the mean time, it's shelved. I'll be happy playing on the WiiU SMB instead this christmas.

every patch herds more and more people towards the RMAH, this is what it's all about. Although I have already finished the game with all 5 classes , from gear found and transferred to each, havent bothered with any AH at all. There are some really cool moments in the game, for instance, when there is no lag, and each of your friends have a good videocard, the smashing through mobs never gets old, Blizzard has made this fun, but replayability factor is way down from Diablo 2.

If there is no DLC / major quest expansion to this game, it will fizzle out like a *cough* torchlight.

Looking forward to Simcity and Generals 2 sometime early spring next year. Over and out, as I wait to play the new SMB on WIIU. RIP PC Gaming until then once again. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at Microsoft's tablet announcement of today.

Since Windows 3.1 and Dos 5.0 , Windows 8 will be the first MS OS, I will never ever bother to install and even try.

Nice one Microsoft, at least you did something unique for a change, you produced a windows worthy of worst software launch title in history. Don't even lie to us about volume sales, if people want touch, they will buy Android or Apple iPads, stay the hell away from this segment.

we need a startup game company that will kick PC gamers in the face again, to force us to play : ALWAYS OFFLINE.

no multiplayer, no friends list, no..

hey wait, this sounds like games I'd love to play!

I have just finished Normal difficulty, with the DH, (I play extremely casually, with days off inbetween, and like Torchlight, D3 has no replayability factor, for me, this spells doom.

I used love gaming on the Commodore Amiga, when real artists hand painted sprite animated characters in their games that fit on a floppy diskette, when that died a sudden death, luckily 3DFX resurrected PC Gaming to a new welcomed direction, they sadly departed, but Matrox was there with awesome 2D and tried hard with their 3D side, that failed but ATI Radeon was there in your face with stellar 2D graphics and colors as well, and 3D that worked despite the world telling me their drivers never worked, until one day I really did find out some of their drivers DIDNT WORK!, so I had to buy a NVidia card. It was collecting dust inside my PC as I played Google Chrome based mindless games, waiting for Diablo 3, now that is out , so I can set aside my PS3 for a while, until the PS4 finally comes late 2013 and play GT6 in a proper simulator hydraulic playseat with smells and wind effects in my face, because that is where I want to spend my money on next.

TL;DR , whatever.

Sounds like something valve would do. Hey guis, if you change an ability, change the text!

Blizzard is the king of tooltip errors. They usually don't address them for quite some time in WoW and it's like some fantastic thing when they actually get around to it like they're doing us a big favor when it should have been seen to along with the original patch.

This game is totally outsourced in India and Thailand, as is everything nowadays. They don't have the proper English grammar to release with gameplay mechanics. So we have to wait for the American citizen employees to get paid out of Blizzards' Billion dollar vault, before the masses can finally get the finished patch.

Awesome, so now every time the AH takes a dump and comes back online with mostly empty inventory, we only have to wait up to 36 hours for the now unlisted items to expire!

every 30 seconds, there is enough loot on the ground to fill my stash 5 times over. the AH is being ignored by me, to retain the feel of the classic way of D1 and D2. Training the blacksmith is always fun, and I never have enough gold for the stuff I really want from him.. lol

I'm still only lvl18 DH early Act2 Normal. I've had lots of tech issues with this game and my CPU in the first 2 weeks. popped in a new AMD X6 1045T, (to replace my dead ol' X3) and all is cooking with gas now.

we can only change ourselves.

this is probably the only surviving quote for serenity, because, with our population going from 7 Billion to 10 Billion overnight now, and just the decline in varied tradition, as Apple and Google will control the world byt the Billions, I can say, I will boycott this game, and watch 35 million walk past my petition, and buy this game, no matter what the DRM measures are.

this is the sad fact of society that cannot be beat BUT!

we can only change ourselves.

Thank fucking God.

Blizzard is deleting all my posts in tech support, and here too.

I wrote stuff about how their game has melted some of my hardware components, due to the repeated shut downs that tens of thousands of players are also experiencing, (but have no alternate system to post on)

all my comments deleted, and here at blues too, the Nvidia driver update story, GONE.

good riddance failed sequel attempt that is Diablo 3, totally believed my gut feeling that this was going to be a disastrous dumbed down sequel, waiting all this time, for what, lol

COMON GRIM DAWN!!! TAKE US OUTTA HERE.

I received the collectors edition in the mail yesterday, opened it in front of my wife, and was very impressed at the quality of box and items inside, and proceeded to install, and shook the house with its installation Tristram theme coming out of my floorstanding speakers ..

nicest videogame package so far, ever.

now my GTX460 is dead. (apparently 3d portion has been for some time now, I haven't gamed on PC since SC2 was released.

I got no errors right off the bat, last night, all went smooth, except for the system shutting down 3 minutes into 3d mode.

Common Sense Fact:

  • Blizzard is going to Induce fake characters in different regions of the world, that will auto generate "unique" and "needed" and "Desired" Items, for people all over the world to "almost" complete their sets using RMAH

+[I will beat this game , SOLO, casually, using my own experience of previous Diablo Games, but I will never own any elite sets, due to the clause above, but I don't give a MMO Rat's ass, because having waited over a decade of painstaking human agonizing wait for this game, I just want to see the endgame, cutscenes, and then uninstall this game and never touch another Blizzard game ever again.+
