early Bnet forum reactions are having outcries from Wizards suddenly dying much faster than ever before...

lol, Wizards, in Diablo... (needs food! badly!)

I do enjoy playing 4p Gauntlet style , varied chars really shines in this game, too bad it's never doable, as there are always 3 of one kind of character in most MP games.

Did we ask for another Counter-strike? Nope. I think people are still enjoying the other one. And why change that now with a new CS? Why change everything these players have been learning and getting a feeling for. because you need to make more money? Welp, that's not our problem. So, don't make it our problem by shoving another CS product down our throats.

If I wasn't married to , & living with my dear wife, I'd be wiping my shit with my bare hands, screw toilet paper! I'd be walking 2 hours to a minimum wage job, screw cars and gasoline! I'd be living away someplace in the Ozarks, screw RJ45 and the internet... oh wait nvm, gotta play this FPS! I wasn't kidding about the poop and job though.

damn, I was hoping having read all these juicy bits, that this game was going to be something along the lines of Minions, from the old.casualcollective.com

if anyone, with a gaming programming degree, or kickstarter goal, wishes to join forces with me, I would love to create a proper minions game, that is browser based, the community is VERY dedicated to this particular game, and it is a simple RTS.

unfortunately, the creator of Minions, went on to Kixeye, and has abandoned completely, any interaction, updates, to this fine gem of a game.

Bluesnews, can you help with this?

If we can get a minions2, or a new game without the name, not to step on property rights, .... I have money to give in.

a) increase the $1 transaction fee rate via the RMAH, as more and more people will migrate there. even naysayers.

b) Blizzard is desperate seeing how over 85% of purchased copies stopped playing altogether as of 4 weeks ago.

c) appease the angry mob that is the entire BNET forum, while Blizzard gets to work right away on a much needed story re-write via Necromancer expansion, which for faith restoration, should be a free gift from Blizzard. If I were Mike, I wouldn't think twice about this.

but most of all, I am curious to do some epic damage with my 2H Barb, that already possesses a godly damage stat, now it's going up to 700% on rend, lol, reinstalling is worth it just to see that.

Why do you think more folks will migrate towards the RMAH? Sounds like more drops and better loot with negate this...

Do you have a valid source for B or just spouting off BS?

Also, the Bnet forum is seriously the WORST gaming community I have ever witnessed in my gaming life.

As far as the 2H go, I could be wrong but I was under the impression that only new drops will have the new stats, not current ones.

Matthew

more drops, yes, better loot, marginally than before, but the elite set items and epic Lengendaries, only at RMAH, as were before. Blizzard can and do, what they want, the entire game is just designed this way.

I too was skeptical, I don't have a valid source, but I only speak for myself and my own gut instinct, that, I played Diablo 1 and 2, and really tried hard to want to love 3 the same way. Anyone with enough gaming time under their belts, have become disenchanted with Diablo3. Since I returned from vacation , computerless for 3 weeks, I really need to be dragged back onto my modern workstation to want to play D3 again, even with 1.04.

& to expand on Source, It's also common sense, a human trait that is severely lacking in today's day and age. Google and Facebook don't teach you that.

yes, new drops for new stats, but I have a current 2H that was worth 20 Million Gold in 1.03, that I snagged luckily? at a buy it now, on a newly listed item for 400K. +11 attack speed, +260 STR + 150% DMG, and already has 1100K Base Damage. It will work with the new and improved! 1.04 Rend, and Hammer of Ancients.

Curious to see what the new drops are, but I will judge only after a months time, as I play no more than 2 hours nightly, and am already in Act 3 inferno (just started, and wickedly hard)

took be 15 tries to finally get Belial down in Act2. I have only 4,000 elite kills and 150 hours of played time, and own 3 legendary items, and permabanned from D3 forums 6 weeks ago, for having stated that the next Blizzcon keynote presentation is going to be held behind bulletproof smoke mirrored glass, but I kid. I'm the type of guy that stops his car on the highway, to set free a trapped fly from my windshield wiper.

really trying to read between the lines in that patch wall of text, as to how this will benefit Blizzard. I agreed with seeing a few Bnet forum posts (few because less than 1% are intelligent posts), that this is ineviteably out now for 3 main reasons, and in no particular order

a) increase the $1 transaction fee rate via the RMAH, as more and more people will migrate there. even naysayers.

b) Blizzard is desperate seeing how over 85% of purchased copies stopped playing altogether as of 4 weeks ago.

c) appease the angry mob that is the entire BNET forum, while Blizzard gets to work right away on a much needed story re-write via Necromancer expansion, which for faith restoration, should be a free gift from Blizzard. If I were Mike, I wouldn't think twice about this.

I will give it a shot, since it is a casual game for me anyway, and I just want to see the new legendary stats out there from the RMAH, as they will virtually never ever be made available from barrels, speaking of which... thanks for nothing Blizzard, but finally getting objects from destructable items, whoa, that must have been a hard decision, you may as well just done that and scrap the whole rest of the patch lol. rolls eyes.

but most of all, I am curious to do some epic damage with my 2H Barb, that already possesses a godly damage stat, now it's going up to 700% on rend, lol, reinstalling is worth it just to see that.

I would also urge all of you, well too late now, but take screen shots of your weapon and item and char stats, before and after this patch, to see all the lies surface once again.

normal monsters will be tougher, the junk rate will drop 4x fold, the agony of identifying one item at a time will break many ...

... to the RMAH at once! step right up folks, for your glittering new Legendary items (cough exclusively injected wheeze cough by cough Blizzard hhhack)

Blizzard: mission accomplished, clearly, much time was delayed to release Diablo 3 with a major flowchart in the design process on how to do crowd and mind control for the masses that will still play this game to no end... oh the story! but what about this pitiful story that's still in the game, unchanged!

sigh.

Blues, please look into the development of Generals2, I am itching to know more about that game, how is it coming along, please send the dev team a hug magnum of donuts on me, I want to know all the speal!

I've been permabanned from their forum today, for trolling. I guess that means their entire forum is now permabanned. In a way, I am happy, becuase I seriously needed that kick in the ass to confirm I've been wasting my time playing this game , albeit casually, since May 15th + 1 week for having to fix my blown CPU due to D3 beta and it's unoptimized CPU destroyer.

my problem, along with many others, is that we loved D1 and 2, and are FOOLING ourselves into thinking this game is anything like the previous iterations.

Good riddance Blizzard, I'm going to set my CE on fire and post it soon on reddit.

In the end, I am happy to have this wakeup call, I mean, in all honesty, their gameplay engine mechanics wise, was ok, it works as an arpg so to speak, the mindless clicking ...

but the buck stops there Mike. thanks for this historic moment, you fail. not me. you and your rigged AH, and I pity those to have spent real dollars on RHAH, to each their own with that though.

I'm off to play Path of exile, and praise those indie developers for trying to keep the real legacy of this genre, alive and well.
Their beta invite was sitting in my inbox for the longest time, I was a fool to have let that sit there all this time, until now.

Welcoming also TL2, but I know Runic games is now tainted with Blizzard's bribes to delay their game further on purpose, so I may have to ignore their game too.

money corrupts, and I knew this all along. #@%@# me to hell.

/cheers Bluesnews.

do you have any idea how parents in todays' day and age spend money they don't have? Food for thought why the US national debt is increasing at 1 million dollars per 45 seconds.

Good luck circumventing a wow expansion price of $79.99, when 90% of player base already gave Blizzard over $1,400 in subscription fees over the last 8 years.

to quote: 'I can't imagine what they're doing during that maintenance window.'

Like lottery houses, they shut down to offload all gaming mined data into number crunching statistical analysers, to make sure their winnings are tweaked and calculate the 'worst' possible payouts to ticket holders (all gamers), and tweak auction house item stats accordingly. It's probably a very complicated algorithm analyser powered by Google, I'm sure half of the development cycle was based on formulating all this, and then some.

the house always wins.

Meh. I can think of far more interesting things to do than play this game. Playing solitaire sounds like more fun.

if you do like cardgames, give D3 a try, it's a glorified Casino, where the house always wins. you win some gear here and there, based on lottery type chance, and Blizzard being the casino owner, gets their royalty and then some, by adaptively showing unaffordable gear (ante in), or by penalizing you for wearing too good of gear (counting cards), or by slapping you in the face with costly repair expenses (erase your winnings), or when all else fails, they will just ban your account (bar you from the casino because they can't find anything wrong you did)

Blizzard can do whatever the hell they want, with such audience and prestigious title as Diablo. To bad it is now an official memory for I believe it to be everyone.

Here is hoping Grim Dawn will carry on the proper legacy.

I can't stand the algorithms Blizzard put in this beloved game. it doesn't even matter what gear you have on, the whole AI is completely adaptive. mission control over at blizzard even has shutoff valves that dictates whether or not to drop quality rares, or rares altogether, during peak playing time,

Blizzard is totally paranoid with this game, moreso that the forum posters. They are sane, compared to those who were lead designers behind Diablo3.

although I find myself still playing the game, casually , each night, I smell all the things that are wrong with it, and they do this by varying the rewards, like huge water taps at their disposal,

don't get me started on the AH, I will give a thousand bucks to anyone who can reverse engineer that rigged POS and bring forth to light, just how unjust that service is to us all.

a sad state of affairs, Diablo3 Auction House Tycoon , turned out to be.

I know TL2 will be a disaster, as clearly, Runic has been blackmailed and bribed by Blactivizzard, to intentionally delay their game further.
Ah corporate greasing, gotta love it.

Stay tuned for more delays, as probable patent infringement wars from arpg elements will surface.

yeah, more time to make it a better game, I wonder where we've heard that before, oh say, waiting 12 years for Auction House Tycoon 3.

Can't wait for simcity and Generals 2, over and out, I'm turning off the computer.

Kids, when you read this post, and decide to make your own gaming studios one fine day, please, stay classy.

Google should outright buy the rights to Diablo universe, and carry over the game to it's Chrome OS (free) and hire a dedicated team to cater to the gamer's needs.

it's a drop in the bucket for google, yet they will gain a huge audience for new niche market.

if I owned Google, I'd totally buy whatever is for sale here, gaming wise. It's a goldmine,

the fun I have with D3, is to beat blizzard at their own game, that is by finding low gold cost deals at the GAH, that keeps me alive and kicking well into inferno.

the entire auction house , is nothing but adaptive algorithmic blizzard bots, anyhow. I don't care if you insist I wear a tinfoil hat, I smell things in this game, that many of you can't if you were born yesterday.

I play this game for fun, and like trying different builds from time to time, I play very casually, and will enrage you for sure, if you spend all your days and nights at it. to each his own. The gameplay mechanics, and awesomeness of tons of monsters in a good 4p matchup, on a decent rig, is quite well done, despite the Casino complex this game is running on.

remember, the house always wins.

the videogame industry is reaping in Billions of dollars this decade, they will stop at nothing when they have an audience, that are devout Diablo players. all of our complaints are noted, but the next TOS in Diablo4 won't change a thing, except for you to sign over your 'last will and testament' in order to authenticate to BNet 3.0 come 8 years from now.
