I am still going to buy this, but I have no expectations higher than the fact that this will join the list of AAA historic titles, that will feature dumbed down and agonizing money grabbing gameplay that otherwise will never be have earned in a respectable casual gameplay experience, as this is the current mantra for the gaming industry on the PC x86 architecture of today's times.

Still worth my $60 for maybe 100-200 or so hours, tops, then will join my serving coasters such as Diablo 3.

It will be a pleasant c-c-c-ombo breaking surprise, if Maxis / EA, can prove otherwise to me. I doubt it. I am already losing sleep as to what Generals 2 is going to be.

I want a proper new motocross game, none of this bullshit game engine floating around since Motocross Madness and ATX.

Diablo 3 Patch planning:

1) Have the unwashed masses at BNET Diablo 3 forums, using WoW Avatars cry for 6 weeks to thin air, about ensuing remote controls hanging from their rectums, because they can't kill demons while holding down their left mouse buttons for 800 hours at a time.

2) a Community Manager responds to a post, appeasing all these wild children as if to sit them down in front of a kindergarten teacher about to read to them an afternoon story.

3) Forumcrafters remain deeply divided on this game and bicker about current patch woes, even though they spend 800 hours on it.

4) The RMAH goes down for 35 seconds, 4,676,975 responders cry about how they cannot buy something during that small time window, but 4,676,975 viewers agreed that the RMAH has ruined Diablo3.

5) Blizzard takes notice that their income feed has been interrupted

6) While Blizzard is hard at work with datacenters over at paypal, they nerf all game mechanics, as this game is a 300 sided die with a global variable set in place controlled by their servers at a whim, but people insist on calling it something to the likes of RNG.

7) a post is put up that a patch will be announced sometime in the near future, soon I think.

8) Week after week, on Tuesdays, 4,676,975 Forum users (out of an initial 25,941,672 purchase base) that are still unbanned from the forums, all ask questions wondering WHEN the patch will come, since it hasn't come in the last 4 weeks as anticipated by all of them.

9) The first patch ideas surface, and Blizzard CM announce patch notes, that talk about patch changes to patch notes about changing the patch notes, that will be contained in the coming patch to patch the current patched game that will be patched to a new patch.

10) I won't post this what I'm writing here, in the Diablo subreddit forum, because that subreddit is now owned and moderated by Blizzard employees.

Amusing to see people to this very day, still disputing the game engine that runs this piece of shit of a time wasting game, for no rewards, with the RMAH hanging over your minds in the main menu. Blizzard stops at nothing to degrade your souls. You can be a huge company, and give back to your fans, but you choose to lower the bar, and test the waters, as you gawk at your news ticker feeds behind a smoked mirror glass.

Blizzard, you have 300 million fans. Why are you sudddenly exploiting them with filler itemization (like adding celery to canned soups), false hope, induced and generated legendary items at the RMAH, Bots that are run by you- yet no one dares to say and believe, you give the entire realm the same low budget legendary item and you expect them to think there is more to get off the ground, you are more predictable and cheezy, than McDonald's McNopoly contest game. You change the game and classes at all costs, except for one cost: that is the cost to your bottom line.

FUCK YOU and your coaster of the decade, it does not even warrant holding a chipped mug on an already stained coffee table.

I just wish to share news, that I have boycotted this game. Corporate greed does not belong as a fundamental game engine in my choice of games. Sure, I can farm for 9,000 hours, but at that point, I would FAR rather be a REAL Farmer.

Also, to enlighten some elementary folk out there, doubling nothing, still yields ==> nothing.

Shame shame on you Blizzard, may your RMAH eat you from within in hell. But you know, in all fairness, the concept of asking for extra money to award more in the game, is ok, but the way it was done with Diablo 3, it is just really insulting to gamers that have integrity and principle.

Having played the first 40 minutes of this game, I have to say Runic, all my negative thoughts of TL1 are forgiven, TL2 is such an awesome sequel, I am loving everything so far, It turned my Diablo 3 Depression, into TL2 Bliss. I will take it slow, because I haven't paused to read every loot I find (every minute) to see how it awesomely changes my Engineer's abilities.

Extremely polished, Extremely worth not $20, but $60.

The musical Soundtrack is so effing beautiful, it is actually overpowering to this cartoony like game, to a point, but I shall let it play in TL2, and never ever bring that into Diablo3, shame on those that consider this.

the isometric view is zoomed out a touch at 1080p, but it is a very welcomed change, albeit the small monster appearance, I haven't seen the rest, but so far they looked a little translucent

I am about to post a picture of MY Torchlight, it will be my D3 CE BOX Pierced through a Bamboo Poletip, set on fire.
