JoeNapalm...why are you so concerned about what others make? Stop focusing on the negative and go after success yourself. Unless you are an alien, I believe anyone can be successful if they have the right mindset. Btw, I am not nerding out on you. I am trying to open your eyes to the truth. I have started my own business and I am my own boss. There is also a flip side of having your own business. You have to get out there and bring the money in because no one will cut you check for just showing up.
Call up your local internet provider and ask them how much it was cost to host for 3million plus people. Once you get that number, let me know if you think running a business is all fun and games.

This is preemptive. It took years for Wow to have this many subs. This was a good call to do this, because many compare mmorpgs with Wow. It is not realistic to have those numbers right off the bat. Let us hope it will be a fun game.
Who is asking for your sympathy, DrEvil? Unlike most, Blizzard did something and made an awesome company out of themselves. They still run a business and must make smart decisions throughout(profits for their investers, etc...). It would be foolish to start with the max (what is this number btw?) number of servers before they work their way up and tweak things. They can make an educated guess, but thats about it. We can all look at the money Blizzard makes, but where were you when no one knew their names and they worked late nights and dropped a ton of effort behind what they were doing? The great thing about Ameirca is, when you really think about it. You can do whatever you so desire. Go make blizzard2 man, and make all of us proud!:)

@JoeNapalm You need to change the way you think. Do you think people would work for developers if they were getting paid so little or if it did not benefit them in some shape or form? If EA did this, they-the peons- would go somewhere else. If that place stopped paying them for their services, they-the peons-would go somewhere else or better yet, start a company and become the most hated boss of the peons. Your mindset will never let you get pass working hourly for a wage. This is from my heart dude, your thinking limits your potential.

Battlefield has NEVER been a single-player focused game. Bad Company is a to a lesser extent, but it's never been about that. To claim this is a bullshit DLC because it has no Singleplayer is completely insane.
