Quakenet and mirc= fun clan times!:) Wow, those days were fun. Something about getting together with your friends and chatting on irc. Setting up clan matches for Quake. After playing Wow for so long, I stopped playing already. I believe Diablo3 will pull some players. Have to remember D3 will not be a mmorpg or have a social fix like Wow does; I believe it will not kill Wow. Titan will kill Wow.

You guys try and make a wonderful argument against the devs and publishers but I never once heard anything about the pirates. The bottom line is companies would not waste their time with DRM, SecuROM, etc... if there was not a "need" to. I remember back in the day when EB would take games back. You know what caused them to stop it? The fact that people would burn the game and take it back. Now let us look at the cause and not the affect. If a game is easy to crack, warez will take advantage of that. Again, what is the true cause of DRM? Would an evil empire waste valuable resources if they did not have to? Of course not. So what is the true cause of our pain?

As far as the 20 years down the road argument. I would prefer a download system similar to what Blizzard offers. The problem with that is you need a lot of resources for bandwidth costs. Playing games 20 years down the road, not sure if you will have many games that will be that fun after so long. I barely play diablo2 anymore just after 6sh years.

Really? EA has lied in the past? K, show me where they have lied? Without assuming, cut and paste here so I can rightly determine if they are evil (seriously)or not. For example, I can say EA is evil just because I assume they have more money than me. One of the main problems with the media and the internet is anyone can say anything. It is about time we start to hold people's words to fire. Show me and I will believe. The burden of proof is on your shoulders, not EA's. Even though I am Christian, I am not for banning people from making games like this. Slap a M rating on it, take the rating seriously and then I will have no beefs.

Do not know enough about Directx to make an educated comment. However, it does make sense with the recent pics we have seen. Instead of it being the power of the consoles keeping up, maybe it is the lagging of the pc that keep the two so close graphic wise.
