Right because it falls right along with about 20 other games that are these explore/survival games that are unfinished. Yes this is 1.0 but I'm sure they have so many features they want to add, that many other games in the same state would have just called themselves Early Access. The one difference is save games from a released game vs early access are completely different, they will need to keep compatibility.

Becareful with any kind of logical talk regarding No Man's Sky around here...

I've accumulated about 5 to 10 minutes of watching videos about No Man's Sky in the last couple of years (Late Night with Colbert..etc..) and it was clear what the game was going to be. Now that it's out it's exactly what I thought it was going to be and right with what the developers said would be released. I'm baffled daily as I see all the people who have hyped themselves up, watched all the gameplay footage they could find, and kept up with this game for the last couple of years go on about how there is no story and it's not what they thought it would be. The non stop negativity is confusing yet mildy entertaining I admit.

Definitely one of the loneliest mmos I've ever played. Some of the toughest dungeons at the beginning are single-player only, so you can barely play with a friend. Their approach at trying to make it like a single-player game was the worst decision they could have made. It just turned out to be a boring single-player game with the option of having friends grind through boring quests with you. It's really too bad, because the graphics and sound were really good for the time.

So weird that's my favorite thing about this game!

Oddly enough, I thank you for telling me this! Even with it's reputation Dungeon Lords is a blast in some form or another. Glad it's on steam finally, going to buy it right now.

whatever the case may be it looks pretty fun, can actually somewhat interact with the environment and it's something different then a "realistic" war FPS for a change

Hell yeah I can't wait!

Weirdly I remember around 1998 I think I was waiting on a game called PREY that sounded awesome with an original idea concerning portals..etc..

It got put on hold and finally the game came out a few years ago and it kicked ass!
Even though it's not used in the exact same way Prey should be given props for doing the whole portal thing before Portal.
Not to mention the game is just plain out FUN with cool environments. I really miss games like that. Hopefully with Duke Nukem coming out ..etc...it will change things from this whole realistic shooter thing.

Though the comments are making me laugh my head off, one cannot deny what ever awesome stuff he has done in the past and his at least apparent drive to continue or attempt to make more of what he loves.

I love all types of games but mainly play RPGs like Ultima..etc..I grow tired of the wussynessss of games now so even though we don't really know what the heck he means by the word "hardcore" it caught my eye.

I must admit I like it that he has this type of attitude in this day and age. At least he has (or had mattering your view) skills to possibly back it up in the future. What's the worst that can happen hahahaha
