Just another scam to get people to sign up for Twitch prime. Just about as worthless a fee as you can find on the internet.

That doesn't make any sense at all since you don't have to sign up for Twitch prime. It's for anyone with an amazon prime account whether you have twitch prime or not.

Nothing negative can be mined from this, unless you're just really desperate, so what do think of it now?

I was pissed when they canceled UO2. I thought it was going to be good. Still amazes me EA let the Ultima IP just languish like it has.

100% agree! It's going to bother me in some shape or form for the rest of my life oddly enough haha

I liked the later versions of the game with Bruce Dickenson, but I prefer the first two versions, with Paul DiAnno in the lead, better.

Hahaha! Love it

News Comments > Underworld Ascendant Trailer
10. Re: Underworld Ascendant Trailer Jan 17, 2018, 18:46 Heltorne

Huge fan of Ultima Underworld 1 & 2 and I'll of course be playing this one too since it looks fun but I'm very disappointing that it doesn't have anywhere near the interactivity the original games had.
Doesn't appear you can manipulate the world in any way or most importantly pick up objects, toss them on the ground to get later or just litter, throw stuff far ..etc.. There also isn't a "paperdoll" muchless one that shows your armor and weapons deteriorating or anything like that. Very sad there's no item interactivity basically. Seems only the Divinity games, Fallout and Elderscrolls has this.

The conversation system is a generic joke compared to the originals as well.
All that said, the game will be great I'm sure but I don't see where it's similar to Underworld besides being 3D.

These sales are great for catching up on the 2-3 years of gaming I missed. Got a lot in the Thanksgiving sale and now time to get the rest. Dark Souls 2 and 3, the more recent isometric RPGs, Vanquish and maybe Quantum Break? Gonna watch a bit of that one on the 'tube.

What is this?? No posts that make sense allowed! You must have missed the memo that it's generic repetative negative comments about the steam sales only!

News Comments > ELEX Released
17. Re: ELEX Released Oct 17, 2017, 19:22 Heltorne

I agree with you 100% especicially about Piranha Bytes imperfect titles. It's become nauseating over the years reading people's clichecomments about how they suck and they compare everything to Gothic 2. Risen..etc..isn't *that* far off from Gothic 1 and 2 and are definitely way smoother to play with better controls.

The Elex trailers suck bad but after watching the actual gameplay videos the game looks fun as hell. I'm not sure how that doesn't look fun to a gamer or why they keep following Elex if they wrote it off due to it not being like Gothic 2 or "outdated" graphics..etc..months ago

It's only white people that are making a big fuss out of anything like this and have obviously not ever played an online game in the last 20 years. It sounds "bad" but more people use the "n word" or a variations such as "nig" or
"nigga" than you would think whether just in jest, rap or slang no matter what color they are. I don't think because someone says that word that makes them racist.

Right because it falls right along with about 20 other games that are these explore/survival games that are unfinished. Yes this is 1.0 but I'm sure they have so many features they want to add, that many other games in the same state would have just called themselves Early Access. The one difference is save games from a released game vs early access are completely different, they will need to keep compatibility.

Becareful with any kind of logical talk regarding No Man's Sky around here...

3. Re: No Man's Sky Patch Details and Plans Aug 21, 2016, 15:33 Heltorne

I've accumulated about 5 to 10 minutes of watching videos about No Man's Sky in the last couple of years (Late Night with Colbert..etc..) and it was clear what the game was going to be. Now that it's out it's exactly what I thought it was going to be and right with what the developers said would be released. I'm baffled daily as I see all the people who have hyped themselves up, watched all the gameplay footage they could find, and kept up with this game for the last couple of years go on about how there is no story and it's not what they thought it would be. The non stop negativity is confusing yet mildy entertaining I admit.
