That would be awesome if NetFlix picked up DeadWood for a movie and or series, but I wonder how difficult it would be to round up most of the original actors.

Here's hoping it comes true in the mean time.....................................

Should've Googled it first.

Bravo! Nice one Blue. Thumbsup

Google's plan is just to buy every company with the name "Alphabet," including BMW.

Yeah, I'm sure the have the cash flow.

Hi Blue: I've noticed over the last few days that the imbedded YouTube videos have been a bit stutter, but when I view the same video directly from YouTube I don't have that issue. I've tested it a few times and duplicated it. Is anyone having that same issue?

I'm not having that issue, but using FF both at work and home, YT videos are now missing the "watch later" button (both Blues and YTs site).

Hmmmmmmm, okay thanks nin.

Anyway, this looks pretty cool, but I hope there some ground pounding too and not all air battles.

I'm sure it will be released prematurely with a slew of bugs that will be fixed with a paid DLC pack.

Hey Creston, go clean yourself up, would ya!!!

I was considering this but the fact that MGS 5 comes out on PC the same day means I'll probably end up getting Mad Max during a sale.

It's also a warning sign that there hasn't been a lot of gameplay footage shown. If they give out several 1 hr twitch streams like Shadows of Mordor did before launch I'll reconsider my position.

Yeah, I agree, they haven't shown any actual gameplay footage, which doesn't give you a whole lot of confidence in the game.

Its not THAT bad, but as a Thief game, it is an utter failure. So glad, that Deus Ex HR had a production team with a little bit more brain.

Oh, and I second the idea for 'thumbs up' or stars or whatever for posts. Maybe not a thumbs down, but we definitely need something like that for good posts...

Here we go again. Help me understand why a thumbs 'down' is such a bad thing.....

Picked up Cities: Skylines last night. Has anyone played it? What do you think?

Fantastic and well developed game, and there are a lot of really good mods for it too, and they are easy to install/uninstall.

My first SIM game and I have enjoyed it a lot. If you like SIM games, and EA left a lot to be desired for you with each progressing iteration of theirs, then you should love this game.

Out of curiosity, why wouldn't you want thumbs down? Are we playing T-Ball here , or is this Facebook where you can 'only like something?

I know it is a short trailer, but the mechanics and animation looked pretty bad. Graphics aren't everything, but those looked pretty bland as well. Not impressed...... Puke

Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional

That's the card I'm using and it works fine, but like I had said earlier I wasn't using Creative's drivers before the upgrade.

You should be downloading and installing this: http://danielkawakami.blogspot.com/2015/07/sb-x-fi-series-support-pack-34.html

Waiting for official Creative drivers that will only give you half of the cards functionality anyway is a waste of time.

Thank you. Good to know it is working fine for you, as that is the same exact one I have as well.

I've been thinking of moving back to an X-Fi. My old one died a few months ago. One thing I like is you can force hardware sound for about 95% of the games out there using ALchemy in Win 8.1. Will need to check if *that* still works in Win 10.

Here is a link to Creative's Windows® 10 - Software Availability Chart , which I think is an 'Official' software/driver release out of Beta.

Looks like the ones I need won't be available until October 2015, which is 'about' how long I was planning on waiting to upgrade.

I hope that helps.....

Do you wear a foil hat too?

Ahh, now we see why MS is giving away free copies of Windows 10, it's because you have zero privacy.

Microsoft’s new small print – how your personal data is (ab)used

Think I'll pass on that thanks.

How is this worse than what retail stores do with your purchases? Every time you swipe your card at Target or Starbucks that information is collected, stored, and aggregated with other personal information to create profiles to identify who you are, what you do, where you go, how you spend your money, etc. etc. Windows 10 is just a small piece of a much larger privacy issue. There are companies out there who then take all this data and sell it to politicians or business to help them figure how to market to you.

Agreed. Additionally, do you realize how much data is collected from using your SmartPhone/apps???

I tried to play Dead Island a few different times, but it never grabbed me enough to finish it and/or even play MP all that much. I think Dying Light will be different.\

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Then I thought, "Wow, if a minimum of 1 million people buy into it, then that is 1.5 million dollars they just brought in". With Windows 10 being free, that is how they are making up some of the difference I guess......
