Another issue I found with Diablo 3 is that for an online-only game it doesn't have any merits for being online.
Sure you can play with up to 3 players, but you are better off stick to solo, unless you have friends who has a similar level character with same level of gear. There are just so many AFKers and MPKers in PUBs it's just not fun nor efficient to play with others.
It becomes even more problematic past hell. Want help in inferno? "Hey, your MF gear is too low." /kick (not to mention the ridiculous enemy damage buff they left unfixed until recently.)
There's also no chat lobby to gather players for similar goals.
There's also no players to give out his old gears to new players. People just put their old items on AH and buy new ones from some faceless player.
This game has no sense community.
So you got a game of mindless item hunting which has no place to show off your item, contribute others, or depend on others.
