When they announced the first game they said it was going to be a trilogy where all three games can link into one combined map.
Link
That being the case, it wouldn't be a good idea to spread them out too much since the engine would just get more and more outdated.

I really wish they had skipped this and just jumped into the overdue Volta. I've been sitting on my 3gb GTX580 forever, waiting for a card capable of 4k@60 max settings. This won't be it still. Where the fuck is Volta? >=(

It's bad when a 3 year old game like GTA can beat out Ubisoft's new hotness.
Xactly. Those times have long sailed where shit gets cheaper when new shit comes out. Nowadays old shit simply goes EOL outta stock and is replaced by some new (often times more expensive) shit.

"Why is RoTTR on the top...OH it's $25"
Well now I've gone and spent $25.

*EDIT* Ugh, Fig, yet another crowdfunding platform. Oh well, I'll still contribute.
Oh well, I won't.
Because
1) There is no reason to do this on Fig instead of Kickstarter which worked just fine for the first game.
2) I'm not willing to give away my CC info to yet another crowdfunding platform for, maybe, a single pledge.
3) Once fully funded the game will be available for purchase at STEAM/GOG anyway.
It feels like it is an incredibly short game that gets people to feel like the game is longer by making you go through the same area dozens of times.

Exactly, dafuq is this list that was thoroughly debunked on the first page of this thread?
Also, Xbox One launched at $500, PS4 $400, Nintendo Switch $300. But the third one is "expensive".
Don't know what you guys are smoking, but I don't want any.

I watched a youtube series on this game- and calling it a game is a stretch. The guy broke it up into 6, 30 minute parts. We all chatted about it and had a cool little community around the series.
That said, I think I got more out of the game enjoying it that way than actually playing it. I would buy it for $5, but no more... I really don't want to support 3 hour experiences with virtually no gameplay. As good as the story is, Firewatch is shallow and empty and most definitely not worth the price. The only way I think I could buy it is if it had a good VR experience and I actually owned a VR headset.

Is Deus Ex cheaper than it was yesterday? I waited, hoping it would be.

Missed this if it was posted in the last few days...but Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is 67% off on Steam as their midweek madness sale.
That brings it under $20...but I'm still hesitant to pull the trigger if the Steam sale is supposedly starting tomorrow
Time I pick this up.

How is this any different than Trump promising a whole lot of shit, basically everything that everybody wanted to hear, then getting elected and then....well I guess we'll see what happens next, wont we?

BTW, I believe that tomb raider pack "20 Year Celebration" includes all the DLC, season pass, etc.
At least it did when I bought it a month ago. It's not advertised like that, so I was pleasantly surprised and started playing the game. I've been enjoying it.
