I'd only be interested in a FO5 if it was something beyond the Bethesda formula. Look at the evolution of the Witcher games. Each entry improved everything about the previous. There's no doubt Witcher 4 will be amazing as well. Instead I'm afraid FO5 will just be FO3 again with some new features and better graphics.

I fear Manor Lords will be a bit of a disappointment given the amount of hype behind it. YouTubers and publications are so far treating this like a full release with no issues. Hopefully the dev gets some sales and can build a proper team and finish the game in the next few years, but I don't plan on paying to beta test it.

Not surprising because the PSVR2 software is not nearly good - Quest has a bunch of free social things like chat, 3D videos and other free experiences whereas PSVR2 is basically just a few free game demos on top of the games you've bought. Meta wants people to use their ecosystem and willing to take a loss for a while. Also it's difficult to argue against wireless even if the PSVR2 visuals are somewhat better wired.

If a company can't keep selling us new batteries on a regular basis then this tech will never see the light of day, outside of some ridiculously expensive military application.

Fun, underrated game imo. Sure it may get repetitive but I just turned down the difficulty and enjoyed the story, graphics and humor after a while.

Just to throw my 2 cents in even though I haven't played Starfield, the underlying question on Steam reviews is whether you recommend the game to others. You can watch a movie, read a book, go on vacation to somewhere new, and even though you spent hours and may have enjoyed some parts of whatever it is, you can still be disappointed and decide not to recommend it to others.

Welp. Reviews aren't looking too good. I owned the original on SNES. I thought the graphics were mind blowing back then. Well that game and Out of this World.

I could've sworn I played a demo for Flashback 2 years ago but it looked different than this. I also thought Flashback and Out of this World looked amazing on SNES. But what stuck with me was that they both had unique worlds that you didn't see in video games at the time.

And will they ever stop buying those games because of that? No, of course not. So nothing changes in the realm of AAA shooters.

The people complaining in this article are Warzone players who haven't necessarily bought anything since Warzone is free to play.

Sounds like they keep changing the game because of what's "hot" at the time. There was no clear vision for the game from the start. I agree they're just out to make money by following the latest fad instead of creating something that doesn't already exist, and that they themselves want to play.

I'll be impressed if/when the thing is released and it gets a higher review score than 7/10.

GTA mission structure and humor has been worn out to me, so unless they've changed things drastically this time, then I'm not that excited about this. I think they're targeted for a younger crowd anyway (fair enough). I'm sure they'll still make billions using their usual formula.

I'll cry if that financial problem they realized they were running into about 10 weeks ago affects my freebies. Wink

Seems like they've already shifted to giving away games that no one is buying anyway, or else require additional DLC purchases for the full experience.

Sounds like it's good enough for me for $30 but I'd probably pay that much just to get the 2.0 update features, which I know are free.

I wish they could churn out a sequel in the next couple years but it looks like it'll be 5+. Hopefully they make it further into the future closer to the Altered Carbon setting, with flying vehicles and all that crazy futuristic sci-fi shit.

Good for them. Based on the demo it was fun but too much based on memorizing enemy locations and repeating sequences for me. Maybe I just was bad at it.

You've got to give Bethesda credit for taking a risk on a new IP instead of just another Fallout or Elder Scrolls game and also not releasing it with too many bugs.

Skyrim didn't have complex systems but it did have a remarkably vibrant world to explore from top to bottom. This... does not look like that.

No, but apparently the main story is much stronger here than any previous Bethesda games. I definitely look forward to playing this once they or modders fill in some of the gaps.

A game that normally retails for less than $40? As if I would ever deign to click thrice to acquire such a thing for free.
