This Counter Hat Strike was expected. Yet I'm not excited about this news. Does it even have multiplayer? If not then Hatworks are completely useless for this game.

I was getting 40 - 0 kB/s from Czech content server during sales Luckily I buy games mostly elsewhere since Steam has such rip-off prices for Europeans, so Civ 5 download was fast from GamersGate, but the patching by Steam ...

So @Valve: About fuckin' time!!!

It looks like CoD with more walking. Zero recoil, no bullet/grenade drop, sniper is probably a Terminator with hydraulic hands with gyros, retarded, inaccurate, slow minded AI.

I just hope they keep their no-DRM attitude. Can imagine that is one of the biggest reasons why it's so difficult to secure new publishers.

Indeed it's hard, but if publisher insist on DRM or on regional restrictions, then those games will never be released on GOG, until publisher changes his mind.

Some games should be priced $6 instead of $10, but some are well worth those $10 (considering their value for games: quality of gameplay, fun, long). But there are always deals, so I can wait...

Many people use PayPal so lower prices (like $1) are no go - in this case all money go to PayPal + there are other expenses like bandwidth cost and server keeping cost...

All games are (or will be) on PCs. I don't think there is PS3 version of good old IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 so best way to buy it is on PC via GOG.com: http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/il_2_sturmovik_1946

It's (Bulletstorm) being sold for 'traditional' price 50€ here in Europe. But people can buy it cheaper via D2D or GamersGate etc. (on their UK shops). That's hard to understand why people buy it on Steam for higher price, it's not Steamworks game, so there is no or very little additional value in buying it on Steam. Maybe people just don't know...

It's fun game, worth try. As was said, it's not really a typical MMO, you get experiences and credits for each battle, you invest experiences and into your tank development and credits for buying new equipment and better tanks, also your tank crew gains experience and evolve - that's where the similarity with MMO ends. Rest of it mathmaking and battles - which are combination of team deathmatch and capture the (enemy) base modes.

Best way to find out what is this game about is watch these three tutorial videos: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

If you want to try the game, then when you register it via GamersGate, you will get one premium tank for free.

Direct2Drive has Borderlands:GotY for 29,95€, compared to €49.99/$49.99+VAT/£29.99 on Steam. Steam customers are such tools.

Steam is kinda slow with indie games releases. This piece was available on GamersGate and Impulse several months ago.
