Maybe Square's working on a "reboot". I can see it now:
Boots is replaced with an edgy, emo character. Realizing their mistake from the Thief reboot, they add the jump ability. The old fashioned turn based jrpg combat is replaced with real-time fps cover based combat. The aristocrats!

Somehow I doubt real scientists would contribute to a game where Earth collides with Mars. Is Bruce Willis involved in the story-line in any way?

Also, anyone else seen/played Beyond: Two Souls? The entire game is a quicktime event.
I played quite a bit of Avadon on my iPad. Fun game with a lot of story and good old fashioned turn based combat. From what I understand, Avadon is a lot more stripped down than his previous games, complexity-wise.

You have no control over all of the other idiots in the House, and their districts are usually so gerrymandered that they have no fear of losing. I saw a statistic on The Daily Show the other day that mentioned that there is a 91% incumbency rate in the House. An MSNBC article mentions that Congressional approval is down to 5%...

You no longer need doom3 to play it, its standalone and free. Open source. Moddable, customizable, great map editor with too many features to list (darkradiant is freakin amazing) and all with classic Thief gameplay, but refined and improved by Thief purists. None of which T4 includes. TDM exceeds the originals and not just for graphics.
I'm not bummed about T4. It can go jump in a lake. Oh wait, no it can't... Only prescripted jumping is allowed (facepalm).

Call of Duty: A Game for Pigs?
This game was fun. I liked the grittier feel of it, as opposed to WoW. My problem was that I didn't know anyone else who played it, and the Public Quest nature of it didn't really lead to very much partying and getting to know other players.
I mock the guy, but I wish he'd create a FPS again. At least it wouldn't be a Call of Duty clone.
How will he explain Daikatana to the class? Perhaps this is more like a "scared straight" type course?

Well, to my credit, I did only just buy it last month. I've been enjoying older games I never got to play more than modern games, lately (except for Wizardry 7, which felt like I was playing a spreadsheet simulator).
Read that Outlast review. No thanks. If I want to scare myself shit-less, I'll turn on CNN. Besides, I still have to finish System Shock 2.

Was kind of disappointed in the new album at first, but some songs are growing on me.
I think it's the best thing he's done since The Fragile (not AS good, but the best since), but I'll openly admit I like the more electronic slant (I'm an electronic junkie in general).
Also found it funny as hell that part of the fan base freaked out about Everything, but then don't bat an eyelash at Satellite (one of my favs, but highly commercial sounding IMO).
I pretty much liked all of it except Disappointed and Running...
Yah, didn't like Disappointed (although it's almost as if he's mocking disappointed fans with the song itself) and Running. You ever listen to Skinny Puppy?

So does this mean I can play the couple of games I bought on an old account (that are installed on the same computer) on my main account? I don't have to log into the old account to play those games? I still wish I could just move them to the current account.
