I am disturbed by all the news services, they all focus only on news that fits their agenda, with some like CNN and MSNBC taking that to the extremes. Nobody seems to take the time to fact check either.

Lol, wut? How did you not include Foxnews in that statement, and say it with a straight face?

Wow. Nice one. I have Dark Descent but not A Machine for Pigs.

Honestly, Dark Descent freaked me out so much that I didn't finish it...so while I was tempted to buy AMfP a few times on sale...I could never rationalize it.

But hey, free!

I still won't play Dark Descent, but I did play A Machine for Pigs...not scary (or particularly fun...no gameplay), but has a great atmosphere for a walking sim.

Everyone raves about the Switch. Maybe if I had a long train commute, I could see picking one up...

I like it so far. I have the Zelda game and the new Mario. It's nice having the option to use the hand-held when you can't use the TV.

I could never really get into Rune when it came out, although I loved the look of it. The platform aspects and huge confusing levels killed it for me. I remember being stuck on the first real level for hours, in the first damn cave.

Seeing all of the little crescents of the eclipse projected by the leaves of the trees onto the ground was neat...the eclipse itself wasn't that fun.

And what is the connection to Micheal Bay in all of this? Seriously -- I'm not trying to be a jerk. I don't understand what it is you are trying to say...

Im trying to say that 20, 100, 500 years from now no one is going to remember who Michael Bay was and what he did for a living. His movies will not stand the test of time.

What, no Transformers in the Park performances?

I love Better Call Saul, but if they continue it on much longer, I won't be able to suspend my disbelief in Bob Odenkirk playing a younger Saul than in Breaking Bad. Or Mike for that matter...he's looking pretty rough lately.

Dammit, I just started to replay Diablo 2. Sure, it looks terrible on lcd monitors (it looked terrible back in the crt days too), but it is still addictive as hell.

I never realized Jay Wilson was the guy who made all the good maps for Blood. He is also the project lead for the abortion that was Blood 2.

One of my first computer games (along with Star Control 1). Played it on a 286, and didn't have a sound card. Was much later when I finally discovered that the nazis said things.

I've gotten over my initial puzzlement over their choice of Idris for Roland, but that trailer didn't leave me hopeful about the movie. The scene where he loads his revolvers by somehow catching the bullets in the revolvers' cylinders in midair just dripped of Hollywood action movie crap. I'm afraid they're turning The Dark Tower into The Fast and The Furious, Mid-World Edition.

Also, I was disappointed by what was shown of McConaughey. Flagg is a character that would benefit from his more eccentric performances, and they didn't indicate that that would be the direction he was taking. He just looks like your typical action movie bad guy. Oh well, wait and see i guess.

Shame on you Hollywood...you have forgotten the face of your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate.

Westinghouse goes bankrupt? Somewhere Tesla is dancing. With a pigeon.

About that. Westinghouse was the guy who firmly believed in Tesla's AC model and provided the funding to make it happen.

Though Westinghouse today is a subsidiary of Toshiba.

If anything, he'd be a lot more joyous if Edison's descendant companies all went out of business.

Westinghouse also screwed Tesla out of royalties. The original contract said that Tesla would get a royalty on ever kilowatt generated, but Westinghouse realized this would be a huge amount of money. So he begged Tesla to forfeit the royalties, saying his board would kick him out otherwise. Tesla agreed, as he felt that Westinghouse was the only one who believed in his ideas. Tesla died penniless.

Highlighting how oblivious you are to Trump's ACTUAL corruption while still talking about Hillary's "alleged" corruption just makes you look like a complete moron.

You know how they say you can't shame the shameless? Well, you can't inform the morons. Information is their kryptonite, hence their love of "fake news". Ugh, tired of hearing that term applied to anything they don't like.

Man's body 'dissolved' by Yellowstone hot spring after seeking place to swim.

Hard to believe an entire human body could dissolve in a pool of water in 24 hours. Crazy.

Also, too: Darwin award winner.

When I visited Yellowstone, the amount of stupidity on display from other visitors was amazing. Walking too close to buffalo, touching boiling water (with a sign nearby in multiple languages saying water was scalding hot)...I picked up a book in the gift shop called Death in Yellowstone. Good read. This guy certainly wasn't the first person to hop in a hot spring.
