The internet has taught me many things that I did not know before such as...
People are glued to toilet seats in public restrooms at big box stores on a monthly basis.

I remember that too. I saw the link and thought "OMG! Someone made a video game worse than a GD concert", clicked and said oh, it's just this old interview again

LOL!
Those 60 first class tickets are supposed to be for the production staff and their friends to scout exotic locations.

What a cesspool of greed those negotiations must have been. They probably realized MS was not the pushover cash cow they thought they were and cried foul.

Same thing happened with Marvel. Hollywood tried to eat them alive for years before they took control themselves.

Regardless of the current state of XBLA Steam is probably very concerned about the next gen XB. Their best bet as far as I can see (and I'm no pro at this ) is to have access to Steam as a default on the new PS and MS consoles. Like Netflix probably will.

Epic, awesome, the computer wargamer's wargame.

Unfortunately, requiring players to use their own brain doesn't make money anymore, hence the higher price to compensate for less units sold. Well worth it to the players who want a rich experience as opposed to 'dumbed down' restrictive 'hand holding'.

I will easily play this one for the next five years.

Good luck tomorrow, Blue.

Had a similar situation and it was very easy thanks to the magic of nitrous oxide. Afterwards, over the counter painkillers were enough for me after the novacaine wore off.

Probably a result of that backwards date thing the Europeans do. Sometimes they let their produce spoil because they get so confused over which number is the day and which is the month. Oh, those wacky Europeans.

or maybe they read it upside down. Those wacky Nords!

It looks like the DRM for this will be "a one-time activation on install, NO always-on DRM." However I also hear murmurs of "players who are online will get bonus incentives" which sounds like Heroes VI's essentially always-on DRM.

Your move, Ubi. Will this be the, geeze, fifth game of yours I didn't buy because of your DRM, or will you wise up?

'One time' or 'always on' will decide whether I buy this or not.

It looks excellent.

This is exactly the kind of decadent disgusting garbage that will kill the video game industry. It makes our children violent, sexually abusive miscreants who will bring about the post apocalyptic hell that they seem to revel in on their facebooks and in the twitter!!!

Just two questions.

1. Am I doing this right?

2. Will I be able to pee on people and things?

Ashley, that's just the shitty tabloid-style editors at the Escapist making a headline that will successfully troll their retarded forum members into chewing through 400 posts of recycled console vs PC argument.

I don't understand. Are you saying that Mr Capps did not say that.

LOL PC plans until the next interview...

From Andy Chalk at The Escapist 17 May 2010

Epic Games President Mike Capps says the studio switched from PC to console development because "the money's on console" and that the future of the PC market lies with games like Farmville.

I think the Oblivion interface was serviceable but I'd stop far from calling it good. Barely adequate maybe? This game seems to be taking the same approach. It's not enough to make me avoid a purchase but it is a very lazy design and seems to say "ok well modders will fix it up again".

This quote made me miss Code Monkeys so much. As I read it I heard it in Todd's voice in my head.

I'm playing Morrowind GOTY again while waiting for Skyrim. I forgot how weird it was compared to Oblivion. Hope they put some of that weird into Skyrim.

NASA, DARPA looking for your input for futuristic space exploration dialogue.

I think the creators of Vault-Tec would be excellent at helping with long term space flight habitation offers. Hope they contact DARPA.
If they do, I would not want to be a crew member

Steam account, GFWL account, constant internet connection, tetris login with avatar, social media account access, several hidden non-plug and play drivers, 3 programs that start everytime you reboot (even after uninstalling Tetris) that check for updates and run in the background for the rest of your PC's life, Tetris service, Tetris discovery service...

Am I forgetting anything?

Beth has a lot A LOT of data on what will probably make the most money. Of course these things are not written in stone and they may be horribly wrong but they spent a lot of time and resources on this decision and if anyone is to blame for this, it is the consumers. Not a huge corporate conglomerate that is only doing what it exists to do. Make lots of money for as long as possible off of an IP.
As a PC gamer, I think it sucks.
As an investor, I think it rocks.

I do intend to pre-order for my 360 so I'm definitely one of those consumers you can blame

"The pros and cons of a man sitting down to pee."

Not having to clean piss off the floor +1000 points

Your dong hitting the inside of the toilet -1,000,000 points (and nasty)
Splashback from the piss hitting the inside of the toilet -1,000,000 points

You need to put away the potty chair and start using the toilet for grownups.

in before dong is too long comment

My boyfriend always thought all guys had a problem with the tip touching the water when you sit. He now knows that commodes weren't engineered for people of his ...er.. design. So don't assume that he's not using the grownup potty and consider what you are saying about yourself LOL!

I hope you're right KR. You've been around Blue's a long time like me.
I also THINK I described DA2 but I don't trust anyone on either side of this enough to bet on them or the 'all DRM is bad' crowd. We'll wait and see.
