I played the shit out of Wings on my Amiga, (I actually played the shit out of all the Cinemaware games), but unless they make an incredible dogfighting module, I have no interest in revisiting it.

Same here, loved my Cinemaware games on my Amiga but Wings is the one I remember fondest. The music, the atmosphere created by the diary entries, the game itself, it was Cinemaware at its best.

If they manage to make the remake interesting enough I might get it.

If I wanted to play a QTE game I would slam my head on my desk at the sound of dubstep.

Josh really has a lot of talent for coding games, he's a natural at it. I'm sure LT will turn out to be quite awesome.

Hmmm... Don't think Crytek is going to last much longer at this rate. The financial difficulties must be quite severe.

Like Creston I don't see much of an issue here, I've been playing the experimental branch and updates are so frequent (three time a day, sometimes more) I feel tempted to turn them off so I am not downloading updates all the time. As long as the same team that was in Rust stays in Rust I don't see any problem.

The dev could do in being less of an asshole though.

All these new social justice warriors with their half-brained crusades who, instead of actually change the world into a better place by doing something about real problems like women's abuse in many countries, women's killing for the sake of honor, etc, will embark on stuff that can be resumed as useless and meaningless and actually harmful towards the real problems since it distracts people from those real problems into these made up ones.

This pic pretty much shows what these social justice warriors are.

Ehh I guess, but I think the previous red flags were more about quality and worthiness rather than willful fraud. I feel like Kickstarter should let us decide which projects are worth backing, and stick to policing fraud and willful misuse of their platform. They have tens of thousands of projects. Some of them are going to be a lot more worthwhile than others.

Still, it's nice to see these fuckers get their shit taken down. I can't wait for them to throw a big ol' fit.

Hmmm. I agree with you about Kickstarter being as much hands-free as it can be but this project had some important red flags, like the constant ad hominem attacks from the devs behind it and not showing anything like a screenshot or trailer for a long, long time. These two should have at least merited a closer look, not to mention the sudden deluge of trolling comments to drown out people complaining.

SUSPENDED! At last! Took Kickstarter bloody long enough.

What? The funny money came in over the weekend. At least give them a couple days to investigate bro... I think this is a plenty quick enough resolution.

True but there were a lot of other red flags raised that at least deserved an investigation from Kickstarter, which didn't happen.

I love Kickstarter but damn, they really have to start tightening their policies to include investigations on projects that raise a lot of red flags.

"As you may have heard, Winterkewl Games have stopped work on Yogventures - but this is actually a good thing"

"Although we're under no obligation to do anything, instead we're going to do our best to make this right, and make you really glad you backed the project!"

Are these guys for real? What enormous cunts these guys are to have the nerve to say that a project people backed got canceled and it was a good thing.
