Typical response. It seems all anyone seems to want to give on this topic is an evasive answer.

The irony of this is way, way too much. Since you didn't get it the first time, allow me to repeat Verno's wise words:

No that's nonsense, I've answered you and so have other people across multiple threads. You just don't want to see the other perspective and its obvious in how dismissive & mocking every single post you make on the subject has been. It's quite apparent that no explanation will satisfy, you even said below that people shouldn't care or make a big deal out of it because there are bigger things in the world, as if that couldn't be applied to almost anything.

And much like Beamer this is the last reply to you on this topic. Not worth feeding someone who keeps using the same circular speech and brings nothing new to the table.

Jesus Double Fine, what the hell happened to you? Soon enough and there won't be enough people that trust you to buy your games. And dammit Tim, you started the Kickstarter bandwagon, you should know better than pull this shit.

The Escapist is suffering a DDoS attack. In the words of its owner:

"A DDOS attack is currently underway against @TheEscapistMag. The attackers are specifically targeting the GamerGate forum thread."

The person who got fired a few posts below was false flagged due to someone using his nick to host child porn. SJWs showing moral superiority!

This is just so fucked up that at this point there's no words to describe this.

I only see one group of people acting like the moral authority around here... and it's not who you seem to think it is.

Thou shall not question or discuss any part of gamergate!

I'll make Verno's words my own:

More SJW justice. A woman has been doxxed for her support in gamergate. Funny how SJWs don't mention all the doxxing that's now happening to select people who support gamergate.

now i have nothing against it at all, but i want to know why something like NFL football and all its surrounding markets isnt regarded as "sexist" and "male-dominated" and "violent" and how cheerleaders are not regarded as "sexual props" or a "titilating environment"

and thats just one example out of hundreds

see, but logical thinking isnt even involved in this - honestly i think it boils down to the crusaders thinking "oh these guys are nerds, they are pushovers, lets walk all over them and push their noses in the dirt so we can climb on top of them and show how superior we are"

Hell, we have NFL's Ray Rice beating his fiancée in an elevator. I didn't see any of these crusaders defending the woman then, a case where real justice is necessary.

This is the last thing I say to you Beamer. What one does outside one workplace is not a sufficient reason for terminating a contract and you, as a lawyer, should know that better than anyone. Insulting your boss, sure there's enough reason there, being a misogynist, not so much.

But this I will say, you and your sanctimonious SJW friends, acting like moral police from your high horses and wanting what any moral police movement ever wanted throughout history, absolute control through censorship, corruption and other unlawful methods (and that has been proved throughout gamergate, it's the SJWs that have resorted to censorship time and time again to quiet an argument they cannot refute through logic and facts), never questioning what you're told, never trying to validate anything that you are presented with from both sides of the argument, and promoting anti-consumer methods, are nothing more than misologists. Go find out what it is and realize you and your group fit it perfectly.

And here's what may be the handiwork of SJWs. If true this is getting beyond disgusting, getting people cut off from their ISPs and fired from their jobs is repugnant.

Well, having played the original Wasteland on my Commodore 64 back in the day I can say this game is everything I hoped for and more.

That is, this game is a pure delight for those wanting an old-school type of RPG, like the old Fallouts, however those more used to more modern RPGs may not enjoy this as much.

Personally, I'm loving it. Best RPG of the year for me and that's quite a feat since I thought it would be impossible to beat Divinity:OS.

A must-read article about misogyny in gaming.

"Anonymous Game Dev #1:

I’m a female game developer, 8 years experience. 12 shipped titles. Currently working a department lead for one of the largest game companies in the world.

The “misogyny” in the game industry itself is a life frabicated by outsiders, and supported with the voices of the vocal few."

A great read and many more will follow. Of course the same dishonest whiteknights will dismiss it. As the walls close in watch as their attacks and deflections get even more vicious and desperate, clinging to a cult-like ideology while it crumbles around them.

Cult-like ideology, you say?

From the AS convention last week.

George Orwell would not be proud.

At this point I think it's fair to say these images represent Beamer and the SJW crew the best.

Though in the end it all comes down to this image. Mislead, misdirect, lie, derail, troll, do anything but not face the facts.

That shit is indefensible, I don't know how anyone can rationally stand behind these people anymore. As the author said, if gaming was as closed as they claimed then they would have been tossed out of the industry on their asses long ago. Its a testament to gamers that this shit has gone unchallenged as long as it has. Too bad for them, free ride is over.

The ironic thing to all of this is that it took a real journalist for all this shit to surface and I'm sure there's still a lot of shit to dig. We all knew gaming "journalism" was veiled marketing but I don't think many suspected of this type of collusion and corruption running so damn deep. If anything, it makes gaming "journalism" even worse than before, something I didn't think possible to achieve.

One thing is certain, things will not be the same in the gaming industry after this is over, for better or for worse. This has now become too big.

There's also been another huge development that went a bit under the radar. 4chan dramatized it, because it's 4chan.

Basically, someone at reddit shadowbanned a user in front of Julian fucking Assange for asking him about censorship in the Gamergate thing. Not soon after, the Wikileaks twitter account got involved in the Gamergate scandal.
