It's a really fun game. It wasn't even on my radar but after watching a few streams I picked it up and already feel I got my money's worth.

I'm liking Battleborn a lot. Apologies for a positive message on this site, but I'm playing with friends and having a blast, both PvE and PvP. Never have trouble finding a match on PC. That said, I like Overwatch too! Very different games, though.

I think there was a deal where you could get Doom for 40% off if you also got it bundled with a Steam controller or something like that.

Although I'm liking Battleborn quite a bit more, I think I'll have enough fun in OW to warrant picking it up for 40. OW is more polished than BB, but I find BB to be more fun and have more depth. Very different kind of games.

Same. This game wasn't even on my radar, but I tried the beta and thought it was great.

I almost didn't try the beta, the game wasn't really on my radar, and what I did know of it I wasn't too impressed. Tried the beta because a friend asked me to play, and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. So much so that I've already pre-ordered it.

Also going to get Overwatch. Although they're both coming out near each other, they're completely different games, I really had fun with both in each beta.

This game is awesome. Been playing it off and on the past few years. It's actually considerably more indepth than TQ was, with the addition of more components, usable skills on gear, devotion tree, and more/interesting mods on loot. A lot of it doesn't become apparent until after normal difficulty. You can make complete builds around a skill that comes on a piece of gear.

If you're a fan of aRPGs, this is definitely a must buy. Great game, great company.

I'm going for a viper strike trickster in SC, and a contagion/essence drain occultist in HC. I've been playing the hell out of Grim Dawn the past few weeks, now it's POE's turn. Love them both.

EDIT: Also psyched about the trade changes! You can sell things by tab or individually now with premium stash tabs, without having to mess with Acquisition/other third party stuff.

I think this game looks really fun. I'm not even a huge Warhammer fan (although I don't mind it at all), but the game mechanics look really neat. Is it going to have a decent single player campaign, or is it more geared toward player vs player?

I simply can't take Steam's rapid growth in the last year or so seriously. How many of the accounts are 2nd, 3rd, 4th (or more) accounts for one person to farm cards in these ARG games to sell for free money?

Huh? What do you mean? You can't get cards in F2P games without spending 10 bucks in them first.

Of course not. After they shat all over publishers during their KS with vicious remarks against the EVUUUHHHLLL PUBLISHER OVERLORDS like Bethesda, I'm not surprised they are no longer getting any work.

Something is wrong with you.

I wonder what's going to happen to Desura. If the digital distribution platform is taken offline, and everyone loses their libraries, it won't be pretty. This might turn into a small preview of the Steampocalypse.

I've been saying this for years. People prefer ignorance and "convenience" though

some latent part of me still feels this way but, really, this is like not using gmail because you're just anticipating google goes under and takes all your email with it. how likely do we think this is going to be after 11 years of the platform being the center of the pc universe?

just as soon worry about the inevitability of resource depletion and electricity failure preventing you from playing games, too.

Haha, you suckers, playing your "video games" that need electricity. Once the power goes out, I'll still have my table top games I can play. You guys are a bunch of suckers!

You mean devs/publishers are on autopilot? Steam/Valve does not dictate the pricing, the devs/publishers do.

They didn't announce it today so it's over. It would seem Valve is out of games development entirely now.

Haha, yep. Cutter doesn't think very much.

Is Besiege good?

This should answer your question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdh_L_ZIjkg Some funny stuff there.

The answer is YES! The game is awesome. Albeit, there is not a whole lot of "game" there yet, only 15 or so missions, but you can have hours of fun building machines. Definitely enough content to justify the 7 bucks.
