Well, I suppose it's better than them saying, "We currently have no plans for a PC version at this time."

As long as you can use the word 'badass' at least 10 times in any project your working on, then you too can work at Epic Games, because Epic Games only makes the biggest, and most badass games ever (only on Xbox).

You forgot EXTREME!

Both are good games, but LoL is a lot more casual than DOTA 2. You can just jump into LoL and have a decent amount of fun. Not so with Dota 2. It's more like a decision to decide to learn to play, an investment of time. In the end, it will be more rewarding, but it takes work to get there. Checkers Vs. Chess, IMO. I have a few hundred hours in LoL, and although I'm in the Dota 2 beta, I'm still debating whether I want to make the time commitment to learn the game.
Another major plus to Dota 2 is that everyone has access to all heroes at full power, all the time. LoL you're limited by the current hero pool, trait lines, etc.

And anyone who thinks Valve is too late to the party... ha. Dota 2 is consistently at the top of Steam game stats, and it's not even released yet! Not everyone who wants to play can play.

http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ Currently 100k playing right now, about as much as Borderlands 2 and XCom combined.

I wonder if it's possible to do random loot with this? Or even random dungeons? I think this would make a very fun rogue-like if possible.

I feel bad for the Browns. They seem to be an actual decent team this year, they just can't pull it off (Eagles/Ravens/etc). Put up a good fight every time.

The Packers were the blood sacrifice necessary to make this happen. Bless you, Packers. And with the real refs officiating tonight, there goes any chance the Browns had at winning. (Sorry Browns fans!)

I did enjoy the first and second installments. But I got the first for $5 and the second for free, so that might have something to do with it. Won't play the 3rd until it's $5.

I would probably get this if there wasn't so many good games out right now. GW2, BL2, TL2, X-Com coming up... Too many great games, not enough time.

Engineer! I love plopping down turrets, supply crate drops, and making my flamethrower go *FWOOOSH!*

Engineer was in my top 3 possible mains, will be an alt soon! Pretty different from the other professions in the use of weapon kits instead of a lot of weapons.

Cool stuff. Although "horde mode" has been done before, it should be fun with the TF2 classes. I imagine it's kind of going to be like Killing Floor (great game!) where you have waves, earn money to buy upgrades, etc.

Valve has been doing a lot of stuff lately... Source Filmmaker, Steam Greenlight, the new Steam Hub stuff, Big Picture Mode coming out soon, Portal 2 level designer, Steam Workshop on a lot of games, TF2 updates, Dota 2, CS:GO, Linux development, biometrics research, and some other stuff I can't think of right now.

Pretty impressive.

Really enjoying OMD2, I think it's quite a bit better than the first one (not that the first one was bad by any means). More ways to create different builds, more possible ways to beat the levels. Liking endless mode, too. Haven't had a chance to try co-op yet, but looking forward to it.

Picked up OMD 2. Looking forward to playing it tomorrow. Hopefully there's really interesting/varied builds with all the new upgrade paths.

Interesting that you would think this IP is worth 100,000,000 ...

Yeah, go for it, start it on Kickstart for 100,000,000 just for all of us to laugh at you, and to waste Kickerstarter's time of course.

The changes sound good, and based on my time with the beta, are very much needed. I think the game will be a lot better when it's released. I'm still skeptical of their decision not to have another beta after making some fairly major changes though. I guess that's the new thing though, we're all paying beta testers. It's gotta be a lot better than D3 at least, right?

I'm pretty sure it does have to be better. Uneasy Right?

There are levels of blame. I don't blame Kickstarter at all. It's a good idea in general. I blame the people behind Ouya the most, as it is almost a scam. Nothing of worth will come from all the money donated. And I somewhat blame the people who donated, for not doing a bit of thinking or research first, but they'll find out the hard way.
