Mohahaha pretty much maxed this thing - I've had to turn off the cargo hatch and docking computer to be able to run the weapons now.

Got my first bug... or FSD malfunction (I have heard it can spit you out at random if it malfunctions). Unsure ?
I hyper jumped to system A. Then jumped to B. Instead of ending up at B, I ended up at C (the 3rd in my route that was planned and set up) and instead of ending up in the Nav Beacon, I ended up miles away from the star at System C, forced out of hyper space due to proximity to a star. Immediately overheating.
I have NO clue how I randomly ended up there (I skipped a system completely), but I found a gameplay mechanic I hadn't seen yet. I could not use either super cruise (in galaxy) or hyperspace jumps to get away from the Star, even though I was aligned, 100% throttle and everything retracted. I looked around, and there was an escape vector (similar symbol to an interdiction escape) that I had to supercruise through to get away from the star, before continuing to cruise elsewhere / hyperjump.Vall Forran wrote on Dec 17, 2014, 19:12:
Oh I have a question. I saw a video where someone was getting interdicted (he had an Asp) and he just submitted immediately and blew the fucker up. How do you do that? I just fly sideways into the "wall", but that makes me spin out and I get shot for a few seconds while my ship is regaining control.
Reduce throttle to submit I believe.

On different topic, did anyone else notice the new frameshift charge icon? It's right underneath the "cargo scoop" part of the gui.
The blue countdown circle thing? Rather than desperately pounding the frameshift drive button when some pirate yanks you out of supercruise it's nice to be able to see when it'll be ready again. Especially when you're in a toothless hauler filled to the brim with cargo.
Has anyone seen if there is an indicator for when 'boost' comes off cooldown?
Yeah when your engine gauge fills up in the power balance meter.
That's not actually true. Once you buy an upgraded power distributor, your afterburn kicks in way earlier. My lakon 6, I can boost right around 60%. I can pretty much boost twice in a row (with a very minor pause in between).

What do I have to swap out on my ship to have my guns not overheat so quickly? Also I was going to get a new shield but this tonnage difference make no sense to me. Does that mean my ship will be less maneuverable?
