I remember when I fried a friend's iPod on accident years ago. The fucking thing had a USB port on it that wasn't actually a USB port. It was the EXACT SAME SHAPE and number of pins, but a couple of them were swapped so that you were forced to use their fucking $90-or-whatever-the-fuck cable. Using a standard USB cable in a fucking port that looks exactly the fuck like a fucking USB cable destroys the device. Brilliant fucking decision to do that shit. I fucking hate Apple. Humanity will rejoice the second they go out of business.

So this game doesn't even have a server browser? I really hate matchmaking style lobbies. DOTA 2 can be extremely annoying like that. I like when I can look at a list of servers near me (sort by ping) and join, and I often can get into games with people I play with regularly because they connect to the same servers. I find that I can have a lot more fun that way, and my enjoyment of the game leads me to want to play it more and get better. TF2 does this correctly. Doesn't sound like I'll be trying Overwatch.

I'm not talking about Whirl under combat skills, which can be pretty useful. I'm talking about the flamboyant telegraphed twirling style of swordsmanship that Geralt uses in the games, which serves no practical purpose other than to look cool.

At least in Dark Souls if a weapon has a dumb move set, you can just change to something different.

It doesn't really matter when you're fighting against a single target, but when you're fighting a group, mixed with the occasional wonky target switching, the combat system just feels clunky.

It doesn't switch targets unless you TELL it to. I think you're just not understanding the combat mechanics.

Wait, since when was GTA Online ever supported on PC? I haven't hardly been able to use it due to the fucking hackercancer. Fix that shit so I can get my money's worth out of the game, and I'll think about buying your next one.

This doesn't matter much on easier difficulty levels, but on the highest levels it's very annoying. When I die in Bloodborne/Souls, I know I fucked up. When I die in Witcher 3, a lot of the times it's because of some stupid game quirk, which becomes frustrating.

Also, the difficulty of the combat was very uneven. I played the entire game on Death March (with a XBOX controller), and while the beginning ~10 levels were challenging, the latter half of the game was a cakewalk.

Anyways, the combat is not BAD, it's just the weakest part of an otherwise outstanding game.

It can be in a 10 man fight with the settings cranked up. Once ults start flying off everywhere, shit can get pretty crazy.

Anyway, this isn't about performance, this is about getting away from the reliance on Microsoft and DX, which is never a bad thing, imo.

One moment that will always stick out in my memory is the part in KQV where you get King Antony to swarm the hay stack with his ant colony and get you a golden needle out of it. Also, I really enjoyed the desert part for some reason. I don't remember the other KQ games before or after it. Damn, I need to somehow get them all and do a playthrough.

As for Full Throttle, back in the day it was kind of cool, but really, it's little more than like a 15 minute diversion, start to finish. :/

There's no time to find someone looking to do a heist and I don't have enough friends in the game to set one up since it's impossible to play long enough to find someone who isn't a fucking dick.
