Really wish Infinity Ward kept the CoD franchise. They were the only ones to do it justice.
I've seen some bugs, but none that are critically game breaking. Some are funny, just death by jumping over a fence. Imo, the game isn't as broken as many seem to make it seem.
I don't like it already. Stop "reimagining" stuff. The original was good for a reason. Sounts like they want to dumb down the game so people don't have to think about time units. I want time units. I want turn based strategy game, not another hybrid real time turn based action game.

It's one thing that people use that word figuratively, but to bring up a mentally challenged kid to make a comparison for a video game is incredibly lame. You can't think of a better way to make your point that you have to resort to that?
What's the fuss about? They're prisoners. They're in jail for a reason. Instead of taking them out for 8 hours of hard manual labor breaking rocks or building roads, now they side comfortably in front of a PC playing clicking a mouse for 12 hours. Boohoo. Criminals get no sympathy from me. And don't think for a second that the US is the only country in the world that has a fair legal system. Heck even that's not true.
Guess EA decided they didn't milk the franchise enough. I loved the C&C franchise. Sad what happened to it.

Your analogy is flawed, his point was that there was no warning that the game may be hazardous to his health.
Didn't preorder it, but I did pre-download it from b.net. Just going to purchase and activate it tomorrow after work. That is, if I can get through to the b.net servers. I'm expecting it to be hell, like the D2 launch or the WoW launch. I'm psyched for this game though, looks fantastic.
Expecting this game to suck. Coincidentally I work about 5 mins away from 38's office building.

For the love of god, someone just remake the original XCom with a newer gfx engine. *sigh*

Same, I've loved the C&C franchise since the beginning, but really EA has been a plague on the series. Like many of you, I've also bought practically every C&C and RA game out. But C&C3 was marginal and RA3 was terrible. Couple that with this asinine DRM and the franchise is now dead to me.

Post patch, I've been experiencing random crashes to the desktop, disconnects to servers when the round ends, and still occasional issues connecting to servers. Its not all bad because I was able to get a game or two in with buddies, but took some time and work to find a server to which we can all connect.
