Wasn't Samsung and some others supposed to come out with VR headsets this Christmas? There were supposed to be a whole slew of them based on the Windows mixed reality API.

Cold feet perhaps? VR it not trending much at all. Niche fad is niche.
Bring the price and requirements way down, then it may get common place.

Let me know when they stop making toon games and start doing great single player campaigns then I might get interested.

When we were kids we use to call this King of the Hill or Last Man Standing.

I guess the new age youth needs some metro-sexual title like 'Battle Royale' as not to offend anyone.

It looks fast paced and arcade-y like Mech4. I was hoping for more slow, sim and menacing, like Mech2 and 3.

HUD looks boring and sterile - sure hope that gets improved.

Also the scale or sense of size of things seemed more like guys in a large power suit, not an earth shaking tank of a mech.

Lots of things need improving IMO.

Lastly, DFA or GTFO.

Brilliant game idea. So gutsy and nouveau. Props to the sharp, creative minds in the software gaming world.

How many times does this type of game need to be remade? I guess it'll make someone somewhere happy.

Sure sounds neat but people are mentioning the teleporting everywhere and controls ruins the experience.

Is there any way this game can save face now?

So many things people are complaining about, similar to Duke Nukem Forever, no matter what eventually gets released, it will be lambasted.

Many in here underestimate the amount of disposable income people have. Chris, the most prolific sales shark in gaming history, has not.

Love the sim parts; keepin' it real is awesome.

I'll probably have a nVidia GTX1280 by the time this gets released.
Just a little longer

Any career mode or something like that?

For some reason, racing sim developers think gamers don't want story, progression and career in a racing game.

I'm waiting on BeamNG.drive. It's early access proves it is one of, if not the best driving sim out there. The current included 3 story missions are excellent but of course leaves you wanting more.

Normal privacy doesn't exist any more, not even in your own home thanks to the IOT, internet of things.

You CAN have some privacy but only if you really search it out and make it happen.

Outcast 1.1 from GOG.com is already really very playable and solid.

I'm not sure who this game is marketed to.

Yeah the graphics are nicer but that's seems to be all there is. No added features like deformable terrain, physics, reactive particles or reactive environment.

For the general public to buy into VR, itíll need to be MUCH simpler to set up, cheaper,

Pretty much these 2.

Also, dev really need to find a better way to move around. Warping around everywhere takes a big bunch of the immersion away.

At this rate, self driving cars will beat VR in becoming more mainstream.

So when are gamers going to get burned out from this type of game?

So a western is coming next but then what? Seems like a tired game to me, been there done that.

Perhaps GTA6 will be impressively VR to make a large improvement?
