I think it's still fairly healthy, though it seemed like (in Legion) that all the people I knew or used to play with had mostly quit... I heard very mediocre things about BfA as well. Shadowlands seems kinda reaching for ideas, too... The story's getting stretched a bit thin.
Yeah, C&C was really a modding open book.. It was fantastic. I loved it so much. Tiberian Sun especially.
I sincerely hope people keep appreciating mods and moddability in games. A game having superior mod support is a big step towards me buying it outright, full price, instead of waiting for a sale. Like XCOM 2.
Yeah, first MK game I've played since, like, the PS2 perhaps. I really got into it for a while... First fighting game I've ever bought, I'd wager, too. Very fun. Very fun to watch. Insane amount of unlocks, not hidden by microtransactions.
Indeed, it was (is?) an excellent survival game with a beautiful engine.. I hope either mods or Bohemia makes something solid out of it eventually. Though, if nothing else, we get a pretty damn good engine out of it for ARMA 4. ARMA 3 had some pretty awesome DayZ-esque mods too, thanks to the passionate modding community.
I recently got back into Dauntless, and was highly annoyed to see that their launcher does not separate the store and the games library at all. The store was down for an entire day thanks to the GTA 5 giveaway (thanks for the influx of cheaters to an already cheat-filled game btw), and the games were not accessible. Thankfully, launching it from the .exe worked, but I'm dumbfounded their library and storefront aren't separated. Such a low-budget POS store.
Yeah... I got all the current content for $25 or so, so I'm not particularly perturbed.. but I can absolutely see people who have been diehards from day one feeling a little shafted. Great game, though.
I hope the publisher does something to help rectify it, or maybe the story mode has more to it than it seems.
Huh, hope he gets better. I'm sure he's made a bunch of peoples' time on FO76 more enjoyable. Say what you will about the Bethesda's laziness, but the FO76 community is really nice and wholesome for the most part.
I loved TW:W 1, but #2 just felt difficult to break into. I think it was the unique mechanics for the rats and the lizards compared to the simplicity of the first game's races. Really need to give it another shot.
