The single most redeeming aspect of playing Bethesda RPG's, apart from the detail and varied quests, is that there isn't anyone else around to ruin the game experience for you. There are too many juvenile, spoiled, and/or socially inept people playing games for me to have any desire to deal with in what is supposed to be a single player game. In fact, the only online games I've played in the past year are TF2 and L4D - but even then 50% of the time I get stuck playing with someone who's personality I either simply cannot stand or goes out of the way to destroy the fun for everyone else.
Bethesda can pretty much count me and thousands of other customers OUT of buying an MMO elder scrolls game.
