This sounds very interesting considering the majority of their catalog will be available for it. And all you have you do is watch an ad before playing it. Why are there no comments on this?

Yeah, I was moving along fine in this game until I got to the mission where I'm supposed to save up a certain amount of gold in a month. I hate missions like that, and I kept getting my ass handed to me on this particular one.

Why make a game like this so hard? The joy is in watching your heroes out exploring and fighting and buying loot from your shops.

A little trial and error should be afforded, instead of being forced to play at a frenetic pace to play a perfect game.

I still like the game and am gonna get back to it one day, but it can be frustrating at times.

From what I've read from others, Telltale always releases episodes in a timely manner and finishes their series.

But from the reviews I've read, this series hasn't gotten off to a good start( this is all based on the first episode review).

I've never really been an adventure fan, but I was interested in this game simply for the setting. May still check it out some time.

I'm currently making my way through Dragon Age now and my preference is to play as my main guy. I setup the custom tactics for the AI to keep things moving quicker and I still get giddy when I see some things being triggered. I will pause occasionally to assess the situation, mainly just to figure out who my next target should be.

Years back, I used to like having full control over everything, but I guess I'm getting lazier the older I get.

I'd be interested in keeping up with an HC Arena Leaderboard. Especially if it offered replays or a spectator mode, but I understand they're not interested in making a sport of it.

Still, the idea of someone risking a character they have invested so much time into is a little exciting.

Great idea here, and I hope it catches on. It'd be nice if they could get new games within a month or so of release also. And I hope its a full fledged rental service that will allow you to re-rent a game if need be(10 bucks and 10 hours worth of game time will be plenty enough time for a lot of games), instead of a one-time rental that goes towards trying and buying a game.

When you're talking about being able to jump through time it doesn't matter when the Delorean was destroyed because it still exists in another timeline........theoretically.

That's heavy
"There's that word again; 'heavy'. Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the earth's gravitational pull?"

geez, can't believe you don't know what that means. it's just an expression that means "it's getting hot in here." you should try some knowledge some time.

@JoeNapalm You need to change the way you think. Do you think people would work for developers if they were getting paid so little or if it did not benefit them in some shape or form? If EA did this, they-the peons- would go somewhere else. If that place stopped paying them for their services, they-the peons-would go somewhere else or better yet, start a company and become the most hated boss of the peons. Your mindset will never let you get pass working hourly for a wage. This is from my heart dude, your thinking limits your potential.

This is from my heart dude, you taking things too seriously limits your potential.

Games like this are all about the characters. I never cared much for Sam and Max, just aren't likeable or funny to me, but I could see myself getting behind Marty McFly and Doc.

Working on your post count? : )

Seriously though... That's a given... I've enjoyed some games of that genre... and not others.. Could be a simple as timing, though, for anyone that's seen my many posts on the issue, the interface can be a huge detractor... The specificity escapes me.

However, I went ahead and bought it anyways... $9... and I was sitting here wondering if I should... while getting ready to order pizza, or the like, for $20... Funny how subjective the value of a dollar is : )

Still can't play it for a week (or the Dawn of War II pack I bought yesterday)... But now I have options heh... and I might be good till March'ish... Which should, but won't, stop me from buying something tomorrow that seems worthy : )

But, why get so worked up? Is it the end of the world if you don't get to play a video game for 24 hours? It's not like it's critical to your survival. They screwed up and they're fixing it.

It's not a 24 hour period that people are having to wait. It's going on 4 days now.

I'm a little bummed that I didnt get to play it over the weekend, but oh well, they'll have it solved shortly.

What bothers me most is that there's no system in place to warn people of when they have run out of keys. This is something we should be notified of before making the final decision to buy it. Instead, we bought the game and downloaded it and then were told we couldn't play it.

There's just a certain lack of professionalism in it.

You'd think that EA and Bioware would have learned from EA and Mythic's failures considering Bioware took over for Mythic, but, no, history is doomed to repeat itself.

Back when I was going to some shit junior college I had a history professor who said he hated the phrase "History is doomed to repeat itself", because as he put it, "It is impossible for the exact same thing to happen twice in history, some variables would have to be different."

I'm sure he still has the same shithole job just as I have the same shithole life.

When I got my new computer a few months, dragon age was one of the games I was really excited about playing. But for some reason I just couldn't get into it. It all just seemed so generic to me.

I'm all on board for a more streamlined version. Sure, it cuts down on the options, but it allows them to inject more personality into everything. I just dig the more cinematic approach I guess.

Zackly. SWTOR is WoW 2.0 in space, but not as good.

If it's not as good it wouldn't be 2.0 then, now would it?

I'm looking for some games for me and my nephew to play together (both on my computer) and thought this one would be good.

Yeah, I bought this back in the day (full price for the 360) and a buddy and me did a playthrough together and it was sort of fun.

we started a second playthrough and only put in about an hour or two when it just got really boring.

i tried single-player and made it to about lvl 10 or so and had to give up on it.

the game's ok, but something about it is so lifeless.
