Out of curiosity, why don't you hate sony for not porting to PC?
Because it's not Sony Windows. It's one thing not to support a competitors platform. But ignoring your own to ram a console that apparently can't survive on its merits down your customers throats is bullshit

I think this is because most Sony exclusives are third person action games, which play fine on PC but is not a traditional genre there (and only play fine because of controller support).
That doesn't sound too plausible. I think the MS side of things is pretty heavy on third person shooters, for the same reasons. I can only think of one significant MS FPS franchise (starts with H, ends with alo), which is pretty much comparable to 2 for Sony (Resistance and Killzone). Everything else tends to be multiplatform, and usually on the PC as well.
And really, a fair chunk of the notable early third person action games were on the PC, if not PC exclusive. Tomb Raider and Max Payne. Heavy Metal, Heretic 2, Alone in the Dark. The lightsaber parts of Jedi Knight.
I also can't imagine people caring a whole lot about internal vs. external development. I'd imagine it's more that people feel MS could be putting resources towards PC games, and, well, good old fanboyism. His platform is, in so many words, "I won't buy Microsoft because they have fewer exclusives, and also I hate it when they get exclusives." So that's kind of no-win.

Currently the console line-up consists of games better played on PC and souped up games you already played on the last gen.
Long term Sony will win because they actually produces and secure exclusives. Microsoft has nothing but Forza and TEH HALOZ!!!!11 and if they ever got something I'm interested in I would only hate them more for not putting it on PC.
So in the end the only thing those boxes are good for is as media center and for Facebook. That was MS's idea all along, brilliant! Fuck them.
I couldn't wait for the old console cycle to end but it doesn't seem like the new one will get going any time soon.

That's nonsense, Blue posts pretty much all news he gets good or bad for whatever company. When Sony had the big PSN hack we had several large stories on it. Sony just has improved their messaging so there hasn't been as much "negative" to comment on as in the past. Microsoft gets bad PR because they spent the past year literally fucking up their hard earned reputation in almost every way imaginable.
Blue doesn't read minds, if you see something that isn't posted then send it in. Just in the past few days we've had stories on Amy Hennig getting forced out of Naughty Dog, SM studio closures and Sony having layoffs at other first party studios so I'm not sure where you even get the idea that there is some sort of overriding brand preference here.
Based on your wording I suspect that you have some brand preferences of your own anyway.

How big is the Skyrim map vs. this leaked map? This one seems small. Maybe the city just looks small because of the wilderness area and smaller towns/areas behind it. Is GTA IV bigger or small or same as this leaked shot?
Anybody know why Rockstar is making GTA V for X360/PS3 instead of Xbone and PS4, which will be able to produce much better quality and larger everything in the game?
Can you even run X360 games on Xbone? And PS3 games on PS4?

The analog sticks are still both not where thumbs naturally rest. That, to me, is the biggest issue. The focus is on the dpad, which I rarely use.
This makes no sense, your hands don't naturally rest anywhere with a controller, it's all about how the handholds are designed. There's actually more precedent for symmetrical analog sticks (arcades, PS1+, etc) than not. The focus isn't on anything in particular, that's like saying the touchpad is the focus because its in the middle top of the pad. Get your hands on a controller and we'll see, yes I have by the way and this is coming from someone who preferred the 360 controller previously. It is night and day difference between the DS3 and DS4.
Besides he was saying they're the same and I pointed out how they not in several ways. If you guys don't want to have an open mind before even holding either one well whatever, it's your money.
