I don't think you can do that, this is not a Steamworks game
I have Steam for some games, unfortunately, and you can basically add ANY game to Steam. Library -> (bottom left) +Add a Game -> Add Non-steam Game.
Only games that seem to have issue with this are very old games, ie. Fallout Tactics gives me issues when I try to Steamchat while playing in it.
This allows for Steam Chat capability on almost all games, BUT Steam Achievements are NOT enabled unless Valve decides to do this, for that particular game later on. I rarely look at Achievements, so this means little to me, but I guess some people could see this as a possible factor for Steam vs gog.com.
Still, these days Valve is pretty eager to add games, all the Humble Bundle games seem to be getting post-bundle integrated to Steam, etc, if you really can't live without Steam data tracking for some reason.
