"Hrm okay, so what's the gameplay like?"

"No balance, only griefing."

"...but what about.."

"NO BALANCE, ONLY GRIEFING!"

Said with the Crab Kalash vendor accent from The Simpsons. I admire these companies that try to make these asymmetrical multiplayer games but... rofl.. good luck!

Amazon is just fucking hilarious at this point. I am not sure whether to applaud them or cry out in horror, as they just ooze into every single aspect of human life, yet sometimes they actually do something positive... curses.

Demolition Man was so prescient, they were just off by a few years. Everything will be Amazon, not Taco Bell, in the dystopian future.

Wtf, they mention TMNT and Ren and Stimpy, but not Mike Tyson's Punchout?!?

I'm sure they don't want to get sued, but come on, this is 90% NES Mike Tyson's Punchout gameplay, which is a good thing in my opinion. I'm interested; to the wish list you go!

Well, CDPR did this to themselves, Reputations, lifetime to build seconds to destroy.

Well, a bit extreme for CDPR, no? It's not like Cyberpunk won't get patched and DLCed and modded up into something glorious, and it's definitely playable now. They certainly aren't going to abandon it.

I've been pleasantly side tracked by Wasteland 3 (it's pretty fucking awesome, with a few bugs) but I'll probably go back and finish the last quest for CP2077 soon, then replay it again in a year or so.

But humanity is fickle, I am sure quite a few people will abandon and curse CDPR forever because of this game.

It would not surprise me at all, at this point, if Trump tried to pardon the Russian government for hacking SolarWinds. He's already committing sedition as it is.

The president can pardon a foreign government? Where did you hear that? Cos that's sounds like bullshit.

No, he literally can't. When has that stopped him?

At the 1:05 it says Jupiter is leaking.
All planets leak.

Indeed, that's what I get, commenting before watching the video. It was a short video too, I was thinking it was going to be some 50 minute monstrosity. Minus points to the narrator for not saying 'Your En us" and saying "Your anus" instead though.

I would have assumed (and it seems to be indicated in the video) that all planets with an atmosphere will leak their atmosphere into space. Frankly, it is more amazing that after 4 billion years all of Earth's hasn't leaked into space as Mars' has. Ninety tons of air disappearing each day...

It's been decades, but I think we were taught back in the day that they all are, except maybe Jupiter due to its gravity? One more astronomy fact to look up today.

Mars had more of an atmosphere at one point, but the majority of it is gone into space. Earth is losing its atmosphere at a much slower rate, but eventually it will be gone too.

Not that I agree with their strategy, but I'm sure the space cost them almost nothing (for them), and they are making like a billion dollars a week or something from Fortnite, so they don't care at all, financially.

Freedom Force ruled. For some reason I didn't like the sequel as much though.

Harvard Professor Avi Loeb: Oumuamua was alien debris and not some piece of rock now? It would have been nice if the article mentioned more about how he came to this conclusion. I mean, I know he's trying to sell a book, but come on.

We (as a species) had no samples of Oumuamua, no near flybyes? only long distance views, and if I remember correctly, it won't be back? Now I have to go refresh my memory on it. This is cutting into my Wasteland 3/Cyberpunk 2077 time!

Wow, personal Mandela effect... I could have sworn it was "Evolved" but no, it is indeed just Evolve; being delisted on Steam didn't help my memory.

"Notice: At the request of the publisher, Evolve Stage 2 is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search. "

How is it that we keep getting caught flat-footed? Don't we have smart people, too?

Also, this country is historically bad at funding IT. Almost every company and government organization shrinks their IT or farms it out to third party solutions. Then they are flabbergasted when they're hacked.

Ah yes, when the Bills are favored to win the Superbowl. I've been down this road before...

Nice to see the NFL East is still a complete shitshow too. I'm still marginally a Giants fan, but this is a rebuilding decade for them. They honestly don't deserve to go to the playoffs, but who cares at this point? The US is probably like 3 days from open civil warfare.

So my fam and I have been doing a lot of gaming lately, including L4D2. There are 4 of us, so one of the games I wanted to play was Evolve by this same studio. So the servers are offline, but you can host a server or even play single player with bots. Yet the game has been taken off Steam. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Does anyone know the plans for this game?

I think Turtle Rock basically gave up on Evolved and is trying to pretend it didn't happen, it failed so hard and was so overmonetized, they lost a ton of goodwill with it.

I had forgotten about this studio personally, to be honest. I had thought of them as "those fuckers who tried to rip me off with Evolved" and thought they had to all retire.

I'm tentatively excited about this game, hopefully it turns out well.
