The subway system was unfinished, and might never get fully implemented. Their original idea was apparently pretty grand, then reality set in.

I have yet to have invulnerable NPCs, but almost always the main loot box for any Teal encounter is in the 'middle' of that little zone, just open everything.

Apparently I better finish the game now, before they bug up something else. I'm already way past this quest listed, but I think one of the other side quests is in infinite delay mode for me. I've been doing other random bullshit for in game days, and it's not progressing.

Did they ever fix up Warcraft 3:Reforged, or is it still terrible?

Also, it'll be interesting to see how quickly the nostalgia glasses come off, once this Diablo 2 remake actually gets released.

?? I played through RE4 on PC, although probably at least a year after release... either a community patch or official patch(?) had fixed the mouse by then.

Unless you have citizenship in another country you'd probably be better off trying to move while you are working. Residency rules in most places want you to have a job. While I haven't researched it deeply, a casual look at a couple of countries told me it would not be easy for me to move permanently as a retired person.

You aren't wrong, and a lot of countries have perhaps unsurprisingly raised their immigration requirements for applicants from the USA and elsewhere in the last few years. I'd be screwing myself over if I tried to relocate now though, for a lot of reasons. After retirement, we'll see the status of the world; maybe somebody overstays their visa somewhere or something.

Holy shit, what an awesome job Valve must be at this point: insane pay (probably), stock options (probably), interesting work, opportunity to get an easy pass to life in a non-insane country (New Zealand)... wow.

I'd love to be able to pick up and just move to New Zealand, and basically have the same job with the same company, as these Valve people are going to have.

I just hope whatever Valve ends up doing in NZ doesn't end up being a super spreader event.

I am real late to the party, but I've been playing Outer Worlds the past two days and... it's pretty good so far? Looks and sounds gorgeous, gameplay isn't amazing but it's better than I was expecting. I think I'm going to get an anti-entropy mod or something for gear, because all item degradation is the enemy of player fun, but aside from that, no complaints so far.

Writing is also interesting, although I am admittedly not that far in.

Hacking Malwarebytes!?!? Is nothing sacred!? 2021 is off to a roaring start.

IIRC The Wire is on Prime, so no need for HBO Max if you already own Prime.

At least in the US when I look, The Wire is available to rent or buy on Prime at the moment, or if you have the HBO prime channel. That's hardly my only reason for having HBO Max or Prime though, I've been watching all sorts of new and old stuff on HBO Max, and Prime of course, is thriving from me buying everything I can to avoid going to retail stores.

If anything, I'm leaning towards cancelling Netflix finally. It's been awhile since I've watched anything I would consider good to great on that service.

This is like the second or third one of these clips with elaborate hamster mazes that I've seen... I'm not sure who is more insane, the maze creator, or all of us for watching these hamsters get lightly harassed by their owner(s).

Seems like they made quite a few good choices for the sequel; mainly getting away from the rogue-lite aspect.
