I'm not sure why people are worried about the longevity of their drives with it "defragging" every startup.
According to Microsoft, when disk optimizer runs on an SSD, it just executes a trim command. It isn't supposed to move data around on a SSD. Moving data around on a SSD doesn't really help performance.
Now it might be that people don't trust Microsoft to be telling the truth. It might be that people don't trust Microsoft to properly detect their drive is a SSD, or maybe they don't understand how Windows 10 is supposed to work with drives.

Because it wasn't doing it every start-up of your PC, but every start-up of your DRIVE

Also if you trust Microsoft you are not in IT. Already it took less then 5 hours for me to find a huge new issue in their latest patch. The Windows Linux Environment is BORKED.

Nvidia better have a handle on miners buying up all the cards. But given how they reacted last time this was an issue, I expect 3080s to be actually available somewhen in 2030

This game looks like it could have been an amazing tactical RPG, but no, they had to Rogue-Lite it.

I am not even surprised anymore at this stage.. just taking it with untamed abhorrence... we should be happy it isn't open world zombie survival crafting rogue lite.

You'd prefer a static campaign, procedural upgrades, and no benefits/consequences to deaths?

I prefer anything that isn't too systemic. I can play games like Sekiro and Dark Souls just fine, but this goes too far for my taste. You have ZERO influence in how you are going to do in a campaign, it's all RNG.. I hate that.

Meanwhile, I can rip out and replace all but the kernel on my OS. Even then, I am not relegated to whatever default kernel that the ISO shipped with. I certainly don't have to but I have the ability to do so. I will not, however, state that replacing a component with a different component is always all wine and roses. Sometimes, depending on the component, it will require a lot of time and work on an individual's part. Point is, it can be done and one is not relegated to just dealing with whatever McMonopoly wants to shove out the door.
I'm just about to try my making my first win 10 install disk with NTLite, and sure hoping you can complete win 10 install, without it ever being installed.
That's how I did windows 7, install disk without internet explorer. Hell, I also removed windows media player too, never installed. Cheerleading

You can't, and if you do it despite not being able to, things break. It's actually quite bothersome...

The reality is: Not a lot of people have that sort of money spare for a video card.

The price for Wasteland 3 is the biggest problem for me ... 60€ on Steam .. hell naw. The game does not look like a 60€ title and it has the Unity loading bloat problem and tiny area problem that was already a thing.. in.. ehm.. what was the name of the game.... or yeah, every other InXile and Obsidian Unity game ever.

Unity doesn't really work well for isometric games like this. And the game suffers from the setting too. If you made me choose between Wasteland 3 and Fallout 3, I know which one I'd pick... oh well

The real question should be "Why should anyone replay Crysis?"

Because to me, that's not clear. I didn't like Crysis at all, looked great, but when the sci-fi stuff started happening the game lost me.

I can call it whatever I want, but the rule exists since 2016

I mean, "scam" has a very distinctive meaning. This isn't a scam. It's possibly a lie. It's more likely a changed plan.
But unless they have your money and either will not give you a product, or will not give you a refund, and did it explicitly to take your money without giving you anything in return, it's not really a scam. Let's save that word for all the people out there legitimately taking people's money without giving people what they're claiming to be selling. Steam has scammers, often people that do an Early Access and never release a product (which isn't always a scam), or people doing asset swaps and claiming it's one kind of game but really it's a broken POS (which also isn't always a scam), but this really isn't one.

Give me another word for it and I shall use it I called it a TOS violation originally, but I admit that no customer was directly scammed. I just can't think of a better word for it.

Also this game has, literally, the discussion topic of "This game is a scam" and "Report this dev for TOS violation" (which you can't by the way, report hasn't got a TOS reason to select) shown in the community hub overview.. I think steam is just backhand trolling there but it's quite funny ,p

Considering the massive installation required for this game (100 GB I believe), that is pretty nuts. Looks incredible on a 2080TI.

cant wait till that technology moves to traditional RPG's and MMO's .. can you imagine if world of warcraft looked like that flying on a dragon as you crossed the continent.

Yeah, but if you landed it would fall apart pretty quickly, also real world is the most boring fantasy continent ever
