The AP does not determine the next President of the United States.
They have statistically calculated a winner, just like all the other news agencies.
It will take a month before official results are announced and another month after that before the cancerous orange effluent concedes.

He's tweeted it, which means fuck all from a fucking piece of shit.
Far as I understand he is trying to stop the counting, which is even more absurd.... but are there really signatures on your vote ballots? Because in Germany that'd void your vote (since we have a law here that says it should be impossible to trace a vote to a person) instead, we pack the signature in a form in an envelope, and the vote ballot inside that envelop in another envelop that is thrown into the counting boxes (so you can't tell apart who mail voted or physical voted). Anyway, I hope you guys get this over with soon, I seriously can't stand this taking HALF of our daily prime news time. Why Germany has to report half of it's entire news on US elections is another matter for complaint.... anyway.
Good luck you guys.
Where do you people get your misinformation. JFC use google and a modicum of critical thinking.
The actual ballot is not signed, where the f@ck did you see that??!?
The ballot is sealed in a separate signature envelope.
I'd love to be in a country where the United States presidential election is only covered in the news 50%.
Over here it's covered 90%, think how lucky and blessed you are.
eRe4s3r, our system is similar to yours. Mail in ballots here in California worked like this..
- Fill out the ballot.
- Put it in an unmarked envelope.
- Put that in another envelope that has your name on it.
- Sign the outside envelope and put it in the mail.

It's day 3 (for me) and there is no result yet. And since it's clearly not the people I gotta wonder, are you Americans ever gonna reform this broken election system? Are both parties blocking this for their own greedy reasons?
It's not broken. In a close election like this, it just takes time. As Philly 76er fans like to say, "Trust the process.".
A lot of people voted by mail this election and in most, if not all states, ballots postmarked by election day get counted even if they arrive a few days later. This includes ballots from our soldiers overseas.
As far as who's trying to block things for their own greedy reasons, I only see one candidate calling to stop the vote.

I dunno. I think America is done. Time to talk about secession. The left can have New America and the right can have Jesusland.
Still waiting for Cutter ( and a lot of US citizens ) to figure out there is no left in US politics. It's been way outside the US Overton window for around half a century.
*insert skeleton meme here*

Knew there was a reason not to "update" ... time and time again.. sigh
10 was a downgrade from 7. I am forced to use it on my work laptop. I fucking hate it. It's so goddamn buggy. I'm never doing it as long as I can help it.

When I first learned about it my very first thought was, "How the hell did an fire suppression system which routes smoke DOWNWARD ever get past the initial idea phase?" It seems nonsensical... weird. If you don't know about Stuttgart 21 you should look it up. It will make you feel better about the SNAFU of Berlin Brandenburg -- after all, misery loves company, right?
Dunno about Stuttgart but I live near the BER, not close enough for noise to matter, but close enough to have been there in 2014 to tour the site.. it looked about as done as it does now. Except now it also just looks outdated design wise. And yeah, it's still having that as a feature... just with ventilation that actually works, it literally didn't before. Just one of many reasons it took forever.![]()

Lockdown rules starting on monday here.. yeah I am not in the mood ;/ Sean Connery dead too.. 2020 delivering yet again
On the upside, BER is finally opening.. lmao.. my favorite local running gag ending.. because it's opening.. oh yeah, right in a pandemic lockdown where all tourists are supposed to leave by monday. I mean.. just.. wow. Highest numbers in Germany since we started tests.... it's gonna be a total shitshow this xmas....
Upside is this uptick also doesn't look to be as bad. While it's still highly contagious the actual virus seems to be much milder now thanks to a dozen or so mutations already. I guess we'll see in a few months if that's really the case. Everything is starting to go back into lockdown. Yeah, I dunno how well that's going to work. I think a lot of people are near the end of their rope with this thing both psychologically and financially. I've seen plenty of news reports of restos and gyms and what not all saying 'Fuck it, we're staying open regardless of lock downs because if we don't we're done.' As someone who's been a small business owner for a lot of my life I agree. Unless the gov't is going to compensate them you can't ask people to lose their livelihood. Christ, even with eminent domain you must be compensated for your loss.

The other huge German SNAFU -- Stuttgart 21 is going strong though (at least as far as I know)...
