There are several examples of Zen 3 hitting five gigahertz.
It's no surprise that if AMD can bin a chip that hits five that they wouldn't market it as such.

Good example right here how fake news work in the digital age.

Chinese developers are not all hung up on wokie-bull-poop that has infested the Western developers. More power to the Chinese Gaming industry.

This is sadly.. correct.. and actually mind-blowingly so

Just look at Genshin Impact or Dyson Sphere Program - a game that does what Factorio devs claimed was impossible a decade ago (3d world) - for less money and with 5 people....

There is a lot more innovation in the Chinese indie scene than we can even imagine sure they take existing concepts and make them different, but that's shockingly not what western developers do. How many Stardew Valley but done in fantasy/sci-fi / Total War or Anno competitors are there? Maybe we really need to look over the pond for those, and if the western gaming industry caters to children and addiction then I don't even care leaving them behind.

Mhhh, I am looking at my current tablet and think to me.. "This better be glued tight" because it is slim AF . sure you can get replaceable features or you get slim designs... which one do you want? And does it matter when a new screen costs as much as the whole phone or tablet?

And then there is my phone.. which is water, dust and submersion proof. Like, on that one I really hope everything is drowning in gorilla glue.

The above 2 news next to each other perfectly show-case how out of touch Nvidia is with the market.

Remember, there are no FE cards anymore. Nvidia gains absolutely nothing extra from these price increases (since supply doesn't go up these cards would have sold anyway, only slower and for less 3rd party markup)

Not true, the last drop of FE cards in the US was 3 days ago. I don't know how it is in Europe lately, but here it's still running fairly consistently with a big dump every couple of weeks. I'd expect them to save up a bunch of the entire line-up for when the new SKU comes out, too, as they've done in the past.

I suppose you are joking, but if not...

unlike the other RTX 30 series cards launched to date, NVIDIA will not be producing any Founders Edition cards for the RTX 3060 series. So all of the cards released will be AIB cards with their own respective designs. And, if tradition holds, don't be surprised if we see the AIBs outfit their cards with premium features and raise their prices accordingly.

Wasn't joking, apparently I mistook what you were saying. Though I don't think you could blame me, when you say "no FE cards anymore" instead of "there won't be a 3060 FE." Because 3060Ti, 3070, 3080, and 3090 FEs are still coming out of NVIDIA's authorized retailer(s) with no change in price (not here, again I'm not aware of overseas).

Yeah I was being obtuse.. I read both articles and just posted what I thought. Forgot that it makes really no sense out of context. Was just a funny reality break when these 2 news are next to each other. "Hey, scalpers ruin our market, what should we do? Why, release even more cards no AIB can supply because they are already barely supplying 1% of the international demand!!!111! for higher tier (more profit) cards"

Like for real. Which AIB would make 3060s right now when only 3% of EXISTING 3080 and 3070 orders are filled so far in Germany/Denmark/NL and only cards you can buy right are 3070s at 110% of the MSRP

Meanwhile bans for obscenity (Google just pulled this stunt on satire magazine Titanic) are gonna be the next hot topic.

And yes, reread that, GOOGLE just BANNED a German satire magazine, the biggest and most well known. Satire is 100% protected in the EU, bans for it are wholesale illegal.

The government is able to access and trace crypto. Don't fool yourselves. They just recently did it for the $1 billion wallet of crypto from Silk Road dude.
Umm, that's not how they caught that guy. Turns out he was an idiot that left a trail a mile long.

Didn't say that's how they caught him. I said they unlocked his crypto wallet WITHOUT his key in order to confiscated the bitcoin *and* tracked his transactions which are supposedly "untraceable".

Those are rumors, not facts. Only thing anyone knows is that the money was accessed. By whom? Nobody knows.

The fact it's not resolved now after this media blowout means only 2 things
High level decision
or
They literally can't fix it
Naw, I'd vote for incompetent customer service. They literally don't care.

At this point it should be an PR decision, no? Or maybe Google doesn't even have THAT.. I could believe that.

Random thought of the day (might be completely irrelevant, this is beyond my skillset)

Did you declare @charset "utf-8"; in the primary CSS and *SAVE* that .css file encoded in UTF-8 (with notepad++ or some other file editor that allows specifying..) ?

I dunno which CSS is loaded for NewBlue, but maybe @charset "utf-8"; alone would be enough to fix it.... oh well, if not then disregard

But I don't know the reason nor remedy for this yet; it's really weird that the browser only renders UTF-8 characters correctly and consistently if they're 3-byte ones (and then the 2-byte ones too), but not if a page includes only 2-byte characters, given that HTML and HTTPS instruct it to use that character set.

Yes, a workaround remedy may be to insure that the page always includes a 3-byte character somewhere, but I'd still like to understand the underlying problem if possible.
I was going to add one more weird observation about the replacement characters, but since last night I'm not getting them anymore during dozens of refreshes in multiple browsers. So perhaps the issue resolved itself just as mysteriously as it popped up... Wacky

Wackiness continues
