Only jeans or shorts for me for over two decades now, with the exception of both my parents' funerals. More importantly though, I haven't worn a tie since leaving the USAF and frankly, I'd have them outlawed if it was possible. Man, do I hate ties.![]()

Ties have to be one of the stupidest fashion accessories of all time. They're so fucking pointless and uncomfortable. People say they hate things a lot and hate is a pretty strong word but I most definitely hate ties! The ascot on the other hand looks good and feels comfortable. They're what everyone should wear for a neck fashion accessory.

I don't agree with the severe measures of the green new deal
Sooth yourself then, cause Biden has zero intention of passing anything remotely resembling this great idea. He's disavowed it time and time again and spent most of his time campaigning time spitting in the face of the US's Social Democrat crowd, what you would consider extreme-left the severely offset to the right US's economic policies Overton window ( that woke con, is just that, a con, left or right is about economic policies, not cultural/identpol/sjw wannabe policies and all that mostly, with some exceptions, useless bullshit ), but what in reality is just slightly right of center for the rest of the world.
Here are 2 sentences that perfectly describe Biden, by his own words:
"I'm a moderate Republican."
And
"Nothing will change." While talking to Wall Street/banks/rich/corps/donors.
There you go. They just want to rewind to 2015, and not even that much, that's it.
I think it's great news for the US's Cons in general, those dumb fucks want to go back to the same situation that put Trump in the White House in the first place...
Had you gotten a slightly right of center Sanders instead of the Neolib ultra-corporatist wanna be Moderate Rep Biden at the WH, you'd be enjoying at least 8 years of great economic policy changes that were only equaled before in the history of the US by FDR's presidency, probably followed by another a decade or 2 of prosperity the likes of which you didn't see in the US since the 50s and 60s and the Reps/Cons would be dragged kicking and screaming into that new golden age for the US.
So rejoice will ya?

Such as him being arrested, can be held up to 3 days for mental health evaluation, his cabinet is impeached, he is tried in court (it would be State Court) with bond being set, assets frozen and passport held. The democrats and the military have been running scenarios for months, even if he tries to flee the country.RedEye9 wrote on Nov 7, 2020, 13:57:
The AP does not determine the next President of the United States.
They have statistically calculated a winner, just like all the other news agencies.
It will take a month before official results are announced and another month after that before the cancerous orange effluent concedes.
So he will be in power till January?

He's tweeted it, which means fuck all from a fucking piece of shit.
Far as I understand he is trying to stop the counting, which is even more absurd.... but are there really signatures on your vote ballots? Because in Germany that'd void your vote (since we have a law here that says it should be impossible to trace a vote to a person) instead, we pack the signature in a form in an envelope, and the vote ballot inside that envelop in another envelop that is thrown into the counting boxes (so you can't tell apart who mail voted or physical voted). Anyway, I hope you guys get this over with soon, I seriously can't stand this taking HALF of our daily prime news time. Why Germany has to report half of it's entire news on US elections is another matter for complaint.... anyway.
Good luck you guys.
Where do you people get your misinformation. JFC use google and a modicum of critical thinking.
The actual ballot is not signed, where the f@ck did you see that??!?
The ballot is sealed in a separate signature envelope.
I'd love to be in a country where the United States presidential election is only covered in the news 50%.
Over here it's covered 90%, think how lucky and blessed you are.
eRe4s3r, our system is similar to yours. Mail in ballots here in California worked like this..
- Fill out the ballot.
- Put it in an unmarked envelope.
- Put that in another envelope that has your name on it.
- Sign the outside envelope and put it in the mail.

It's day 3 (for me) and there is no result yet. And since it's clearly not the people I gotta wonder, are you Americans ever gonna reform this broken election system? Are both parties blocking this for their own greedy reasons?
It's not broken. In a close election like this, it just takes time. As Philly 76er fans like to say, "Trust the process.".
A lot of people voted by mail this election and in most, if not all states, ballots postmarked by election day get counted even if they arrive a few days later. This includes ballots from our soldiers overseas.
As far as who's trying to block things for their own greedy reasons, I only see one candidate calling to stop the vote.

I dunno. I think America is done. Time to talk about secession. The left can have New America and the right can have Jesusland.
Still waiting for Cutter ( and a lot of US citizens ) to figure out there is no left in US politics. It's been way outside the US Overton window for around half a century.
