So am I crazy or are they saying that the 12000 consoles contained a total of 47 million games? That's almost 4 million games per console. I have a feeling that someone crossed some numbers somewhere.

I played a sorc to 20 this time around (rogue first time) and went lightning up till about 15, where I tossed in hydra and later blizzard. She IS a glass cannon, but I had no trouble except for one mob that just stomped me, the Butcher. Apparently he is now a random mob that can spawn in dungeons? I opened a random door and panicked and he had me dead in two swipes. Good times.

One of the things that bugged me about d3 for the longest time was that it was much more enjoyable to play on console. The UI and gamepad play were so much easier to handle. I've been playing computer games since 91 and my wrists cannot support keyboard play with constant clicking. That's one of the reasons I don't play PoE.

Way back when working on routing and playing e4m3 on easy for QdQ100%lite I found that there's a fiend that has no teleport trigger linked to it, so he's never teleported into the map, and is therefor unkillable. Actually had to go use a map editor to confirm that I just wasn't missing a trigger. Not sure if that ever got patched.

I have a friend who plays wow, and I spent more than a year of real life time in that game. I still think of pre-cataclysm wow whenever I talk about the game, my brain never really adjusted to post-cataclysm quests as well.

Not only that, the expansion wasn't 50 unless you got the CE, and there's more than just 'one act.' You get the crusader and rifts, and rifts are (more often than not) very fun. Adventure mode with it's bounties makes the game feel a LOT more like d2 than vanilla d3.

Which is FFVI in Japan. Probably my favorite of the FF series.

All of the old legendary/set items are there, but there considered legacy now. 2.0 adds a ton of entirely new legendaries and sets. IMHO, they've done worse than half-ass the new items. A lot of the new legendaries are basically strong rares, and a lot of the new sets don't seem worth crafting (now that they all take 2 brimstone per item).

I'm actually really stupidly excited for RoS next week. I've avoided gameplay/spoilers since it's announcement, and it was free for me thanks to the now-dead AH. Well, free in the sense that I got lucky on a few set item drops really early on from D3's initial release that paid for the game and then some.

You just can't ignore the fact that they didn't have commas in the auction house until 2.0 came out, and now 2 month later the AH is dead. There's always some stupid design decisions barking at you when you play this game.

From the Zero Wing Wikipedia page we learn that Sony is to blame for the shoddy translation, not the original publishers. The original text was readable and made sense in Japanese. These are two totally separate issues.

No one wants to buy a broken product, and that's exactly what a day 0 patch says about a game. What's really shitty is that it's almost exclusively how games are being released now, and it's across every damn platform.

Can't wait to get my first self-driving smart car that has a day 0 patch, THAT will surely inspire my confidence.

The forum goers seem to think that EU will be a day behind on the patch. We probably won't be stable here in the US until tomorrow.
